There are moments when it seems like it's intentionally insane and meant to be mind-numbingly stupid, but I get the feeling that's giving it a bit too much credit. And even if that was the intent you know it would fly straight over the heads of 99.9% of "fans" or whatever.

Why we gatta have artists like this, but Tupac Biggie Eazy E are all gone, and even people like Ice Cube, Snoop, even Nas aren't doing much anymore. I should say I haven't listed to Nas' albums from 08 or 2010 though.

And honestly, I thought it was funny. It seems like she started out with a crappy insult song idea, realized that, and then turned it to 11 for the youtube views. It's like she's showing what the absolute rock bottom of song writing was, which I'll argue makes her seem humble. It did jump from crappy to scary though at 2:35.

It's just some people do weird for a certain message, art, expressing themselves, etc. and others do it for marketing because being weird gets more attention. Nicki Minaj falls in the latter who relies on gimmicks to stay relevant in her carreer and distinguish between other female rappers.
I always wonder how many people actually know what she's saying other than "You a stupid hoe" or whatever other popular rap song like this.
