Is there a trick to killing the T-Rex? I whittle the health down, and then obviously he stops taking damage at a certain point and you have to hit somewhere else. But it's taking fucking forever to damage it and I know there will be a QTE at some point.

This game is fucking infuriating. I'm not great at Ninja Gaiden, but had no huge problems with beating Black and both Sigmas on Normal. But it's like large parts of NG3:RE contain near impenetrable bullshit. I'm glad I didn't play the original NG3, I probably would have broken something.

EDIT: OK, I just triggered his body turning metal. How the fuck does that happen?

By "original" I mean "not on Wii U". Look at the link I posted above. Hayabusa gets an extra costume (益荒&#30007 along with the girls, but there's no picture of him in the Epigonos skin (リアライズドナイトメ&#12450 on the Wii U page. That only appears on the PS360 page. It's also got a disclaimer:

Though, again, I'm trying to interpret a language that I do not know. I may be wrong.

It says the costume is limited to people with the original Ninja Gaiden 3 save data.

Can we use this OT for X360/PS3 version ?

I bought it yesterday and it's a lot better than before, not as good as NG 2 of course but it's good, it's really hard and on normal and I finished NG 1&2 on Master Ninja but I can't even finish the first challenge in the first chapter, tried it 6 times now but it's HARD.

Steel on bone is random or what ? :/
Ninpo is the only way to heal ? Other than meditation.

Any tips ?

Steel on bone is now a counter. See an enemy glow red as they're about to unleash an obvious attack -> hit heavy attack to counter with a steel on bone. Mashing the button lets you chain the move to SoB other enemies within range; levelling up the weapon increases the number of enemies you can chain.

Ok, question. On the site there are a bunch of extra costumes that can be earned by spending karma points. One of them is the demon Hayabusa from NG1. Does this mean I can play through the whole campaign with that costume on 360/PS3?

EDIT: Also, if you wear the costume you won't see Hayabusa's deformed red hand, right? I thought that made the art direction of the character worse, even though it is central to the story.

Yes to both. Once it's unlocked you can switch immediately to it.

The game is really fun, Ayane is AWESOME and Ryu with Dual katana is SO GOOD, can't wait to play as Kasumi, side missions in the chapters are really hard.

I hope there's a skill (other than LT+A) to improve block, sometimes I block an attack but I receive a big damage.
