Nintendo Direct coming November 12 [Over]

That tweet from the Treehouse lady (sounds like an actress from a Tarzan movie...) sure is interesting.
Does the Treehouse staff regularly hype up the Directs, or could this really be a "hype"-tweet?

Also, i can't imagine that this Direct will be disappointing ... maybe if you do have some insane predictions/wishes in mind.
They have been silent for 4 months since the E³ one, even Nintendo should be able to come up with some decent stuff in that time.
For me, as long as i get anything TP HD, i'm good. Make it a surprise holiday title, and i'm super good!

I believe it's not the first time for Allison to hype up the Direct.

On the other hand, a Nintendo staff member hyping a Nintendo video... insert snarky remark. But I won't, every time she appeared at Treehouse Live she's so enthousiastic, its fun hehe.

Building up hype is simply marketing.

Eh, following her on twitter (like most NOA employees), I get the feeling that she is just as big of a Nintendo fan as we are, if not more. If NOA employees on twitter are hyped, I'm hyped, because we tend to like the same things.

It's like (christmas spoilers ahead, stop reading if you're not 10+) wrapping your kid's presents for x-mas, knowing you got them the thing they wanted the most, and being excited FOR THEM that they're going to see what they want and be happy about it.

Plus, these are their personal twitter accounts, they don't have to say crap about direct hype. Nintendo isn't paying them to say this stuff. I believe they share because they're genuinely excited about it.

Edit: I see it's a different version. I do know that I have a better sounding .mp3 from all tehe way back from the E3 2005 download that was provided back than. Should see if I can still find it somewhere on my HDD...

Really late reply, but: man, I really hope you will find it! Publish it!

more excited for the return of SHINE GET!

than Zelda TP, I feel strange hope the rumored leaks are true

also NPD around the same time as a Direct, Ouch!

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Miracles happen and West gets Great Ace Attorney
This is the one unrealistic expectation I'll allow myself to have.

A Great Ace Attorney Western release would be a huge plot twist.

Not as big as today's Go Get a Roomie's strip, but still consistent enough

I think that everyone should get their TP HD expectations in check.

1. It might not happen (this direct, if it exists at all).
2. If it does happen, it probably won't be this year.
3. They probably won't change as much about it as you want.

Accept those 3 things and you won't be disappointed.

Why wouldn't it happen? We already have an eShop listing and official art.

It's the sketchiest item on my list, because evidence points at it being true...

But it's still a possibility. Hell, maybe it is happening, but it's not going to be announced during this direct.

Either way, always best to lower expectations so that you don't end up disappointed.

Stop being a realist, or I'll kick you off this train myself! :p

Can someone compile a list of all the Twilight princess HD evidence?

Evidence: It's on the eShop servers. You CANNOT refute that. You can check by yourself if you really want to.

Also I'm hyped, and all I want is hearing about new games. :D
I wish they could talk about My Nintendo but I guess it won't be, despite not being only mobile.

(Watch us being disappointed.)

- There's a listing on the eShop database for "Twilight Princess HD" with an icon that doesn't match the other Wii eShop re-releases.
- There's new official art of an HD Twilight Princess styled Link that Nintendo has been using for promotional purposes recently.

Thought about it a bit, and here's what I'm hoping for personally

More info on Final Fantast Explorers, Fire Emblem Fates and Bravely Second, specially the latter two

More Nintendo Select games for 3DS and a confirmation that WiiU will also get some. I love my 3DS/WiiU, but there are quite some games I'm not gonna pick up at the current price. a €20-30 pricepoint would make that a lot easier and I hope Nintendo finally understands that.

All the SMS talk here made me realize I'd really like a remake of either Sunshine or 64. No matter how much I like the Galaxy and World games, those two are in a class of their own.

Finally I'm hoping for some surprise announcements for both 3DS and WiiU. If that's not gonna happen, then in any case some solid info that we'll actually see NX next year. WiiUs line-up for next year is quite barren, something I can understand if NX is right around the corner... if not... well, Nintendo's gonna Nintendo, I guess.

This, although I would rule out 1.

1. This artwork on a booth, resembling a more colourful Twilight Princess Link:

2. This artwork on a slide by Nintendo, featuring the same Link.

Compare it to official TP art, see the similar stance:

3. A "hidden" listing discovered on the eShop.

Why Nintendo would even have it listed on the eShop is beyond me. I guess someone gone dun goofed.

I honestly hope that if Twilight Princess HD does happen, that the game doesn't release on the eShop right after the presentation. The wait for a physical release would be even more grueling.

Perhaps this is just wishful thinking, but it seems like this Direct is timed in such a way that something could be announced to be available during or after the presentation. They're normally on a Friday. This one is on Thursday at 2pm PT, which is 5pm ET. That's approximately the same window that weekly eShop releases go live in the US.

why would they not wait for Spring 2016?

I expect TP but I expect that early next year to be the release

So what you're saying is....it's pretty much confirmed

Definitely. It works out perfectly for CET.

But Nintendo doesn't have to follow the update times to release something on the eShop, I'm sure they have the ability to add anything at any time.

Certainly. It could just be coincidence. Perhaps they'd wanted to do one a few weeks ago, but needed to wait for a couple things to come together. Who knows. But it could very well signal something. People go to the eShop on Thursday evenings to see what's new every week.

Could also coincide with age restrictions, since you can show 18+ content at this time, especially in Germany (NoE's headquarter).

It would be pretty unusual for them to add an eShop listing half a year before releasing the game.

Very unusual, but maybe there's a reason. Maybe it's a flagship title for some new eshop thing or some nintendo account thing. Maybe it was put up so early to test something. Maybe it was to test something strictly internal (related to testing/localization/etc). Maybe it's a red herring!

There could always be a reason, we just may never know it.

I'm not trying to discount it or anything, It's just something that as an NOA employee she's allowed to do because it is marketing, which is beneficial to them.

I just wish NOA would market things better where it matters, i.e. not on social media.
