Hi guys, I wanted to ask you which is the best place to order 3ds prepaid cards or codes online, I am asking this because the e-shop doesn't have games in my country so I decided to change the region to the United States, everything works fine but I can't use my C.C on it, any recomendations? thanks in advance

Canada is your solution. You can use your CC there! Just use a zip code from the region you selected and you're good to go.

sounds good to me, but I have one question, can I link that 3DS with a Canadian region to my US club Nintendo account, I am using a courier service to get (read that as import) my rewards and I would like to get points from the e-shop too

You can connect your Club Nintendo account, yes. I won 100 points when I bought New Super Mario Bros. 2 from the canadian store, and the address in my Club Nintendo account is from USA.

Quick look at amazon.com indicates the pricing is right in the US eshop.
Hopefully europe gets a better pricing situation soon; (cause am buying Animal Crossing whatever; but they know that don't they? bastards)

Also, I have Super Mario 3D Land. If I were to sell it, would be 100% save file be there still?

Good question about 3D Land, it seems logical that as long as you keep your save data, it would work. But does anyone know for sure? I'm thinking of trading in a couple games like that and NSMB2. But if I ever have more cash and an urge, I'd be interested in possibly revisiting them down the line.

Someone in some thread put up some game file sizes (both in MB and blocks) but I forget where. I remember Mario Kart 7 was 1 gig. I wanna say 3D Land was 256 MB but don't quote me, it may have been 512... I think Star Fox is 256, but that's from memory. I tried double checking in the shop but the games don't yet appear for me.

Convenience of having the games with you at all times, I suppose. Not having to swap carts. Impulse shopping too, when you're bored but too lazy to visit a store. And probably the assumption that any Nintendo handheld going forward will allow a transfer.

Downsides are obvious though. No resell/trade in value, no collectable case (some people like me enjoy having something physical for their money). I'd only use it in instances where they give incentive (classic Donkey Kong) or maybe a game that I know I'll want with me at all times and won't want to sell.

By downloading the game, you'll have the game always available to play, as it is stored onto your SD card rather than a physical card that occupies your card slot in order to play.

How much significance that has to an individual will vary from person to person.

Well retail games save to the game card, not the SD card. So no, your save will be gone.

Nintendo's apparently going to release some save transfer utility that'll solve this problem, but no concrete news on that right now.

all titles I have bought digital that I had physical - you have to start again - though DLC does remain (ie NSMB2)

Your save file is on your game card, so no. Apparently Nintendo is working on an app to transfer save data from a physical card to a digital version of the same game, though.

Not having to juggle game cards because you want to check on your Animal Crossing town and do your Brain Age training every day for the rest of your life.

was it yet clarified what will happen with this pre-downloaded version of mario kart if you want to transfer your old 3ds data over? will there be a code in the box so that you can download it again? because with the system-transfer all data on the XL will get erased! (or wont it?)

How do you access Mutant Mudds' DLC? I 100%'ed the game, I chose Grannie and go in her attic but everything is grayed out...
Edit: Ok, found it. Access is hidden in the 20 regular levels actually.

It won't. System transfers only erase data from the source system. Data is only deleted from the target system if there's redundancy -- then it will get overwritten by the source's data.

Nope. Last one was Mario Party 3 in 2010. :/

There's still a few Wii VC releases I'd still really like to see from Nintendo, and honestly they'd all probably do pretty well and help regenerate interest in the platform overall:

this, I'll go digital if there is no retail version or if the price is low (like the steam sales) I still refuse to pay full price for a game without a case and a disc/card
 
I would buy a lot more games on eshop if all the games had demos,

SpeedThru-Potzol's Puzzle looks alright but reviews & a bad quality video are not going to sell it to me unless I get to try it.

At least there are 4 eshop game demos now, and 25% off is nice (though the games are too high priced to begin with,

Art of Balance Touch demo is out now which is good so I'm going to try that.

Mario Party 3 isn't on nor has ever been announced for Virtual Console anywhere. I think you mean Mario Party 2, which did see a 2010 Virtual Console release.

Mario Party 3 really needs to be on Virtual Console. I loved that game.
