gamestop I have mine at says they have around 75 preorders... there are 10 gamestops within 20 miles of me and mine is definitely one of the rinkiest. the largest one in that area has almost 200 orders already.

yeah, it is going to be huge.

Oh, of course Mario Kart is gonna be huge. MK64 pushed close to 10 million. Lord knows how much a 3D Mario Kart that may actually be good and is actually on a system that is selling strongly will do. Oh, and Mario Kart has always been bigger in Europe relatively than in the US. This is very much a true killer app.

Wow, I had no idea Minish Cap did this well. With it bombing in Japan, I thought it would happen here as well. Awesome game that deserves the sales :)

Well, DK2 sold about 6,000 in October. But yeah, still. I wonder if we'll see DK3 here.

That just makes me sad. The second is a thousand times better and one of the most fun games this gen. I think this could do good this Christmas though. Did the price drop yet?

I want to try Killer 7, Geist, and Battalion Wars yet. So yeah, I haven't bought them. You can blame the low sales on me then. It's ok. I understand.

Mario Kart DS deserves every one of these preorders, who knows, perhaps it'll even outsell the GBA Mario Kart ^^

I don't know about that. MP2 is generally known as a little disappointing compared to MP1 (but still awesome). RE4 is one of the greatest games of all time. Plus, like someone else said, GTA and Halo 2 overshadowed it. :\

And MGS3, sadly.

Does anyone have its worldwide LTD? I believe it was almost as popular in Europe as it was in the US, and it was a big hit in Japan. Worldwide sales could be close to 2 million. Not quite as popular at the first, but still a viable new franchise for Nintendo... one of very few, this gen.

Yeah, but of the three, only Pikmin 2 lived up to its predecessor anyway. And generally (obviously there are exceptions), sequels sell less regardless of comparative quality anyway.

As far as the GCN RE games, its the best selling one, its also the best selling GCN game of 2005 so far.
