I'm assuming it's another garbage non-game

hope I'm wrong

maybe it would be able to project images of what you're playing anywhere? (I don't know how feasible that is, so it's just a out there guess)

Could be a garbage real-game too. :P "Non-game" or "real-game", as long as it's fun...

Sounds interesting though. Watch this be another Brain Training-like hit for the DS.

It could be a real game, which is why I said "hope I'm wrong"

There's never been a good non-game, though.

Animal Crossing: Wild World begs to differ.

(And maybe the Brain Training games, I wouldn't know.)

Too bad I consider the AC games the worst "games" ever made, and that's not even me exaggerating.

But uhm, yeah, this discussion has been beat to a dead horse so...

...I hope Nintendo floor vision is something neat.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was something related to poems. I googled the term "shigureden" and what ya know...... it came up with something about poems and tourists. Both of which Nintendo has interest in........ I may be onto something or just blowing smoke.

Are you laughing at the fact that he mentioned AC since Amir0x hates it, or laughing at the actual game?

At the fact he mentions Animal Crossing and i've seen many times Amir0x respond to it. Never played it before.

Yeah, I realized after I posted, and edited accordingly. Didn't see you mention it in the title space. :)

This is no tarot cards.

Nintendo actually started its business selling these cards. Just think of these cards as the equavilent of playing/poker cards in the Western countries.

Very popular in Japan these cards I tell ya.

Floor vision? I think we had a thread about that technology some time ago already (used at E3).
Could anyone actually say what this is about? Is it a place being opened by Nintendo in Japan based around this floor vision or something?

Is it related in anyway to this :
A theme park called "Shigureden"(Autumnal Shower Palace), featuring the Ogura Hundred Poems by famed 100 poets, which is one of the best-known Japanese classic literal works, will open in the Arashiyama-Sagano area this autumn simultaneously with the opening of a pass aimed at enabling tourists to make the round of Ogura poem monuments set up around Mt. Ogura. The theme park and the pass promise to be a new tourist attraction in Kyoto.

New DS utility : Theme-park guide! :lol

Perhaps this is a modified DS being used as a sort of "electronic guide book" in some sort of regional museum/display?

Yamauchi was pushing for NCL to work with some Japanese art/cultural groups, wasn't he?

Since nobody knows, i'm going to make my own speculation! Woo! Nintendo made a deal with this company (or is branching off) to open up a bunch of these giant card game floor places, and they have these special DSs made to interface with them. They are buttonless and probably have different firmware, so people aren't tempted to steal them.

I'm willing to bet this is it.

You really have issues don't you?

Amir0x not liking a game doesn't mean that it's not good.

You've never liked a non-game maybe, but you can't say that one has never been good.

This is strange. Maybe it does relate to that theme park. It seems when you step on the tiles, an image comes up on the DS.

When the button text dissapears you just refresh the page and everything resets.

I love that game. Whenever I'm in any kind of funk I load it up and just mess around with it. I like to build traps for the little mans to fall into, or build dungeons and have oil fill up passageways and light everything on fire. It's soooooooo addicting. :D

Wrong, by then you would have memorized all the button locations and commands, so you just KEEP PLAYING! :lol

If they ported this game to the DS I might have to buy a DS! :lol
