I think they're a bit more defensive recently, but that's probably because the instances of bad news or attacks on Nintendo systems have increased more than any other system.

Well, looking through my collection of games yesterday, I realized that I had only bought a grand total of ONE Gamecube game this year: Mario Power Tennis. And I'm not even THAT satisfied with this purchase. The game is TEH KIDDIE.....

Did not pick up Metroid Prime Echos because Nintendo/Retro insisted on being stubborn morons by not implementing dual analog. Well they can be stubborn and stupid all they want but they ain't getting my money that way.

Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario 2 looked interesting but not as interesting as other games.....

And I'm still fucking pissed off over the GBA/GBA SP bullshit.....

Bottom line: Nintendo can kiss my ass.

Your logic is flawed and inconclusive at best. You realize that many people who post in anit-Nintendo threads are anti-Nintendo fanboys. Those guys are the worst.

I'm fine with people praising Xbox or PS2, but hating on Nintendo (or any other company) is foolish.

Praising on a business entity is just as stupid as hating one. Love/hate shouldn't even apply there. Loving a game (in the mean of "an experience") is possible. Liking/disliking a gameplay element or a gameplay in overall is possible. Rest is bullshit of immature gamers.
