Yeah not bad since you showed me the trailer but I'm in the same boat as you - no one has a 3DS and/or is willing to purchase a Zelda game.
yep, it looks fun but sadly i wont be playing it.

$50 for an eshop game?
On a system with no sense of an account system?
Heh. Get real.
Baffling to me that SF0 is $60. Has there ever been a SF game with as much content as most full priced Nintendo games?

Star Fox games have always retailed for the amount of a full priced title though.
I believe it, but Nintendo used to have more inflexible pricing. That's changed. If Captain Toad is $40--and if DK and Yoshi are $50--it's bizarre to me that SF would be full price.
But I'm still surprised Super Mario Maker is $60. I expect that to have tons of content so I can get over it more easily. But I'm not a huge SF fan to begin with, so this price tag all but ensures I will pick it up down the line at best.
Maybe SF has a ton of content we don't know about yet?
At least I hope it does...
And like I replied, this is such reductionist thinking.
It doesn't apply.
Just because one company took it on the chin to release the old games before doesn't mean other companies should. Just because Koei in NA brought out the old games on Ps2 doesn't mean they sold well enough to justify the expense.
FF was dead before Nintendo stepped in. Koei wasn't doing anything with the series. That tells me that those prior games were not profitable.
So let's throw that all out. It doesn't apply going forward.
So Mario Tennis will likely get pushed back to 2016 then eh?

I doubt NoA will not censor it.The game better be uncensored if we're getting shafted out of a retail release.
Even though some people want to constitute this image of Nintendo as a Samaritan ever since Bayonetta 2, there's absolutely nothing to suggest that Fatal Frame was anything other than a good old money hat - in fact I expect FF to continue on other systems in the future -, which then ultimately crippled international releases because of NoA not giving two shits about hardcore/niche gamers (at least EU got the 2 remake). Which is quite a stupid attitude for one of the big 3, considering that they need to cultivate all kinds of userbases on their systems and not actively piss off a bunch of smaller individual ones with incredibly short sighted/shortterm sales projections.
It was just arrogant when they were swimming in money last gen (when it affected tons of games not coming to the US, thankfully again much less in EU) and now it's just idiotic and doesn't deserve any kind of defending. Nor did it ever.
Absolutely ridiculous. Especially since this isn't about taking a risk in making these games, but barely properly releasing what's already been made. We aren't talking about some niche localisation studio here, but one of the main players of the industry.

I don't think they want to do a Nintendo Direct so soon after Iwata's passing. Maybe this Holiday or next year. Can't believe the only game I'm genuinely excited to buy and play is Super Mario Maker and Xenoblade X. Such a weak holiday lineup for Nintendo this year IMO... That mega yoshi amiibo is now basically a plushie. I would buy it if it's not a nightmare to get. If it is, then I will not bother. I'm tired of always suffering to get Nintendo products. Everyday less and less stores carry their products and I always have to end up importing or paying higher than their original prices (I'm in Mexico btw).
Also, all this sudden information that could easily be in a Nintendo Direct....
Nintendo Directs are no more isn'it?
There's an account system coming this fall. A new one at least, maybe it debutes in October with this game.$50 for an eshop game?

I wouldn't mind it in February but it might be better before ChristmasFrom the PR:
I'd expect it in December.
To be fair, Fatal Frame 4 is all on K-T, due to their stubbornness to not pay for the patching that the Japanese game needed, which in turn killed the localization for the west. Everybody lost out on that one.

People need to hold up on saying StarFox shouldnt be 59.99 until we see more, Nintendo and Platinum games are known to pack their games with content.
Lets wait and see, we havent seen anything new since E3, once Mario Marker is out I expect a StarFox push

This. We didn't know how packed W101 & Bayonetta 2 were until close to their respective releases. Plus, knowing Nintendo, we could see a 3D World-tier facelift from a graphical standpoint.People need to hold up on saying StarFox shouldnt be 59.99 until we see more, Nintendo and Platinum games are known to pack their games with content.

That is what I said. Nintendo has shown before that they gave the user value for thier money. Lets wait and see.

They supposedly had the EU version ready, as usual, but let's not act as if the game would have come out in the US (at least without fans raging like with ,,rainfall'').
It makes me sad to know that we might not get Rhythm Heaven 3DS.
I got all excited because I saw Fatal Frame there.
Then I read it's digital only...
fuck off NoA
Funny if Nintendo wouldn't have made fatal frame available in NA... people would have thrown a tantrum. But they are releasing it in "SOME" form and people still have issues. Ha! No winning.
"No sense of an account system"?
Nintendo needs to modernize but lol at this statement, as its false. I have access to Wii downloads from November 2006 on my Wii U.
You act like retail games don't go for full price on the eShop. That's what Fatal Frame is so not sure what your'e trying to get at. The system has an account system. You might not like how it's setup but that doesn't mean it's not there.
