Man that logo sucks, someone should be fired!
After the brilliant 3D themed N64 and Gamecube logos. We get this which seems to be emphasizing that the machine plays two disk sizes one smaller and a larger one.

It seems only fitting that such a bland logo, shold go with a bland looking console. A fax machine looks better than that box.

Agreed, the logo is bollocks. I like the design of the console though.

The only way the logo would make sense is if the next Gameboy uses GC-sized discs, which is unlikely for a lot of reasons. Otherwise it's a bit of a strange thing to highlight.

Nintendo is still calling their console "codenamed Revolution" ont their official website. So Revolution won't be the final name. And this won't be the final logo.

The logo is horrible, seems like it was cooked up at the last minute. No way it stays the same, I doubt they're going to capitalize on the fact that the machine plays games from a failed console.

My ego kicked in when I saw the NES Revolution, so I made my own:

Nintendo RS Classic

As you can see, I like the RS logo, and think it would be good branding for Nintendo to tie both DS and Revolution together.

As for the current Revolution logo, it looks far better on the system than it does with the CD graphics or that one at the very top.

Hello! That certainly explains a few things. That graphic certainly doesn't translate well to the grayscale printing they used, though.
