That's a photoshop.
Holy shit, how did I not notice Metal Slug 3 is available on the Switch.
Are there any impressions anywhere from people who've bought it?
Next week, I saw that there will be an update on Neo Geo games about this issue.I just tried it an hour ago, it has horrible audio lag and I still can't believe nobody else is complaining about it.
Why do I have to make a Japanese account at all? Why don't these just show up in the eshop of all English, French, Spanish whatever supported language regions??...

Shmups on the Switch would be awesome, especially Cave ones. Give me a Progear port.
I know . But just the fact that I can claim My Nintendo points of a Japanese retail game on a European account blows my mind.Well, you can always claim the points on the Japanese account you've used to purchase the games (unless you just changed the address on the original EU account)
Holy crap I'm really considering importing the Japanese Mario Kart just for the novelty. Had MK8 on WiiU for a while so I don't necessarily need it on launch day.
Not a big deal, of course, but the prospect of having a Japanese Mario Kart box and cartridge is kind of exciting. I wonder if they'll do the same thing for Odyssey?
Splatoon Testfire available to download in the Jpn eshop.
I just tried to start but it said the service does not start yet.
I use my NA account and the menu text is in English.
A new upcoming title has been added.
ACA NeoGeo King of Fighters '94 (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian) [Digital: 109MB] 17-03-16
I imagine they will do this for all 1st party game (and many 3rd party ones; Disgaea is one of the exceptions).
Thanks for the headsup. Still a long wait until the 24th!
Just going to ask here, but where is the best place to currently import I Am Setsuna?
What's the recommended store to import Setsuna JP? Amazon.jp?
Several new and upcoming titles added
ARMS (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian) [Digital + Physical] 17-06-16
ACA NeoGeo Samurai Shodown IV (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian) [Digital: 115MB] 17-04-13
Fate/EXTELLA (Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese) [Digital + Physical] 17-07-20
Kamiko (Japanese, English, Chinese) [Digital: 112MB] 17-04-13
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian) [Digital + Physical] 17-05-12
Ultra Street Fighter II (Japanese, Chinese) [Digital + Physical] 17-05-26
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese) [Digital] 17-04-18
Japanese Only
Maison De Mao (Japanese) [Digital: 215MB] 17-04-13
Splatoon 2 (Japanese) [Digital + Physical] 17-07-21
Splatoon 2 surprises me as the testfire was all languages and they are doing a worldwide release.
Street Fighter II would surprise me as it is not going to be a big game or hard to translate, bit since it's Capcom, who is already charging $40 for it, I'm not surprised at all.
Picked up an interesting tidbit in the Giant Bomb quick look for Puyo Puyo Tetris. After redeeming the code for the NA copy of the game it still did not show up as "purchased" in the JP eshop on his console. I believe this is the first game to be this way?
Someone in the OT said they are two different titles. Japanese title is Puyo Puyo Tetris S while the NA one is just Puyo Puyo Tetris. They are treated as separate skus by the eshop.

It updated Soldam: Blooming Declaration with several languages.

Great thread!
Also would it be possible to add a mark or something to see which games are exclusive to the Japanese eShop?

Seems to be. Disgaea 5 Complete will also be a different title
I have the Japanese copy and it comes up with the English logo as Disgaea 5 Complete.
Japanese Puyo Puyo Tetris has the Japanese logo even when set to English.
So I think that one could go either way (weather is is seen as "Purchased")
