I think my main concern so far is these games that really focus on the abilities of the controller, if they don't have a solid story campaign, are really just fun tech demo's that cost money.

Flash back to the Wii Sports and you had these kinds of displays of the tech all in a bundled game, even if they weren't super deep. These don't seem like strong sells.

Despite very much disliking motion controls, I liked the style of ARMS and the HD feedback + form factor of the joycons will give me enough to be open minded

This all seems fine and the console looks versatile, but it's a little odd they're leading off with local multiplayer motion control stuff

Say what you want about ARMS, but atleast it looks like it will require some skill and will probably make for a great eSports game if they want to go that route.

Spring Man?
Capcom lawyers gonna come after them.

Nintendo fans have spent months saying this is a 3DS successor, despite Nintendo saying otherwise. Here we are at the Switch presentation and both of the games they've shown so far that are meant to showcase the hardware are very clearly games you're meant to play in your home in front of a Television.

3DS successor my ass.

Depends on the game. Zelda isn't that way. It has the option to be more of a home console game..or not. The point is options. You won't play 1 2 Switch on a plane, but you may play Zelda.
