Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 2016 Thread [*LIVE*] (No childish commentary allowed)

These items were one of the things that I disliked about Sticker Star. There were hints what items you needed in the levels, but if you didn't catch them, the boss fights would be a lot more tedious, or you would have to backtrack to town and make space in your sticker book for the special sticker in order to proceed which too was tedious.

The thing that turned me off on Sticker Star was the so called "required" card.

Seeing that back in this game has drained me of any interest that may have existed unfortunately.

Okay yeah my optimism is gone. I could deal with battle system considering they did a better job making it less "punishing", the game does look really charming even with there being only Toad NPC's. However straight bringing back Sticker Star's boss mechanics just made me lose complete interest especially if the bosses are going to be the fucking Koopalings. So yeah here's hoping the next game is closer to what I want

I wish they actually did something with the paint motif. It seems entirely pointless outside of the splash effects.

This is about as Sticker Star 2 as it could be.

Gah it just kills me to see this. The visuals, music and even the writing seem to be among the best the series has had yet. But the gameplay and character design choices (or lack thereof) are just so fucking bad that I have to completely pass on this game.

Ahahah shenanigans
This game is full of humor

Strange to see people complain about being pushed to find and use the right item to defeat a boss honestly

Btw this seems way better than SS (still have to play Paper jam)

Aside from the annoyance of the "required boss card", it still look fun, charming and gorgeous to boot that will no doubt be getting a buy from me. The varied locations look great, and oh my god dragon riding yes.

What just happened!? With the Japanese stuff and the buisnessmen and the cat and the what? Now that feels like good ol goofy Nintendo. Not like Paper Mario, but whatever.

Huh, apparently the world isn't as sick of the Koopalings as I am.

Man, the villains in Mario RPG's used to range from interesting to hilarious. Now we're just fighting the same set of bosses yet again.

Love the art style and the writing seems quirky as usual. I enjoyed sticker star so I'm really looking forward to this although I would have preferred something alone the lines of the N64/GC games. Only disappointment for me so far are the boss specific items although the animations are amazing.
