The crossed swords icon is always something PVP related. I've yet to play even a single match of PVP, but I'm still pretty sure that is the use limit of said item in PVP. Whether it is per round, or per match, I've got no clue.Hi. Can anyone tell me what this icon (red crossed swords) means? I can't figure it out.

Oh.
I'm like 50% done with no DLC stuff then. Then I can DLC on every difficulty then update missions
I kinda hope we don't get another NG+ for next DLC, if only because 3 times is a bunch.
Finally got around to beating the game (base). What's the level I should be for the DLC? I'm under 110.
And what the hell was with that music in the credits?
Okay, I finally returned to the game after a long hiatus. Zelda coming out made me put the game in the freezer for a long while, but it's great to be back. In the second region now, at the ship/coast stage.
Question: I have a katana now that I have maxed at 900 familiarity, but can you 'upgrade' that meter to the full level? Is that done by soul matching the weapon to a higher level, or is there no way to increase this? I don't know if I should even bother with the level increase when I keep finding better weapons anyway. I've read that this is best reserved for NG+.
How do I even get the smithing text for Tachibana's gear? I can craft his weapon (if I had a Nue claw... WTF) but not his bow or armour. Do I have to farm the shit out of him?
About to have a Nioh first playthrough session tomorrow... Anything i should know before I start? Have played dark souls 2 before, but not any other souls-like game...
If you didn't play any of the demos, expect to die a lot at the start, especially if you show your back to enemies. A lot of people would try the demos, get one shot by an enemy (getting hit in the back) and quit forever without giving the game a chance.
Stick with it and learn the mechanics.

Any advice for 'Two in the Shadows' on way of the demon? I'm getting slaughtered. Who should I go after first?
I'm gunna try and make a build that uses Izuna effectively.
What are some good places in wotd to farm +15 equipment? I'm starting to hit a wall and I want to see if maxing my equipment helps a little.

No such a thing lol I'm sorry that the guardian you share the name with, is one of the shittiest in the game
Fun fact, I changed my name as an early teen to this because foxes are cool. Seeing the mythology in this game us a cherry
Change your name to Kato, not only it's a fox, but also great spirit
Embrace it, bro.I'm afraid of what TK will do to this game.
Thanks, I'll give it a shot.Marobashi is hands down the best place to farm gear.
I actually am, I just wanted to see if I could clear Wotd with this build, which I've been using for a long time now. Principle of the thing and all that, you know? Clear wotd and then go pedal to the metal with crazy op builds. Worse comes to worst I'll shift, tough.Your better off trying to create an OP build. Search around there are a lot of them.
WotD difficulty is tuned for OP builds, or extreme mastery of every enemies moves and rarely getting hit.
Edit: Damn is there even a non-cheese way to beat those double boss fights? Every video I see on youtube is just some insane OP magic / damage from behind build.
Does my build suck? I beat the base game quite easily, ended at around level 125, but now I'm getting my ass handed to me by the double boss fight optional missions.
So I decided to try the first DLC mission (Level 150) and and I find myself still getting my ass handed to me, basically getting killed in 2-3 hits despite having what I think is pretty good armor.
Am I just supposed to farm an area until I level up around 140 before I proceed or what? This is feeling incredibly unfun and frustrating, which is sad because I was having a blast through the main game.
I use Dual Swords primary, Odachi secondary
Body 16
Heart 31
Stamina 17
Strength 17
Skill 49
Dex 6
Magic 5
Spirit 25

Don't get hitman I give up. I should have just fucking called it quits after beating the main game. The difficulty jump with the first mission of the DLC is fucking ridiculous. The boss just breaks my guard with a single hit and then 2 shots me. I'm so close to just breaking my controller in half.
I guess I'm looking up the latest OP magic cheese build on YouTube and re-speccing :/ what a fucking cheap difficulty hike. I don't understand how that was given the green light at TN.
Fuck I'm so angry right now. Am I just supposed to fucking Amrita farm until I'm not underleveled? Level 129 with full familiarity divine armor and I'm getting literally 2 shot by a boss. How is this good RPG design
Either I'm a fucking savant or people don't know what a hard boss is. Why the fuck isconsidered a hard boss? I see him topping boss ranking lists. He was one of the easiest bosses in the game. Same for the other boss from the same mission, I was using a weapon I didn't have the correct stats for, and I creamed both these clowns in one try. And I was underlevelled.Shima Sakon
Nue and Yuki-Onna are a million times harder then both bosses put together.
Her ice projectiles are maddeningly hard to dodge. Can't ever do it consistently...

Yuki-Onna wasn't terribly hard - took her down after about 4 goes. As long as you can dodge her ice projectile, her other area attacks are easy to dodge because you can see them coming and you just have to roll out of the area.
I'm not sure what you are, but you're definitely not a savant.is still a laughably easy boss.Nue
I'm also not sure where you're seeing thatis a hard boss. Unless there are pages of this thread I'm missing. I agree,Shima Sakonis a joke.Sakon
Most human bosses are, due to the way the stamina mechanics work.
