With electric cars completely smoking performance cars, 400hp no longer has that wow factor anymore. It’s kinda sad :(, I’m going to miss cars like this as they slowly disappear

Wait, no convertible? It's as though the only convertibles that are affordable these days are the Mustang, the Miata and the Boxster.

They're already gone, this along with the recent Corvette and Supra are almost certainly the last internal combustion sports cars. The Cayman/Boxter total redesign that should already be out was delayed cause they no longer meet EU emission standards and will almost assuredly be hybrid or full electric. You may see 1 last Mustang squeek in, but that'll absolutely be the last, assuming they don't go straight to a Mach E sports car.

I find that car hideous tbh

280z looks 100000x better

300zx even looks better than the 350z

That looks like something you'd find in a Goodwill.

I do remember reading in those old Car and Driver magazines where writers would constantly refer to the looks as controversial or negative, so you're not alone. To me though, it has such a mean stance combined with an elegant body design. It hasn't aged a day.

Give me my old jap imported 300zx Fairlady T-bar roof, man how I'm alive is a mystery, used to take me and 3 mates and drive like a videogame around the countryside in that weapon

Did they get inspiration from cybertruck? These lines look terrible, looks like a low-poly Need for Speed car.
I didn't like the proto at first but the design is growing on me. It's kind of plain looking though I'll admit. That said, I'm not sure I can justify a 2 seater unless I were to purchase this an additional car instead of trading my current in, and I don't see that happening. May trade in for the new STI depending on what subaru cooks up however

smart move in digging into their part bin to come up with something competitive without having to spend so much in R&D
Should be an awesome pickup 2nd hand for a good price.

Not a fan of the grill but the rest of it looks good. Worst thing about it is its a Datsun and I would never buy one, even if I was in the market for a car like this.

Ugly car, but I like what they are doing, and it's in manual.People need to get off the HP tip, it's just a number, I've driven high HP cars that were boring.

It's ok, but 400hp isnt that much for a sports car. My grocery getter Rav4 has 306hp and gets 87mpg. Some weeks over 90mpg.

This had character. The new one looks bland. Yes they can overdesign cars these days (Hello BMW) but this car feels like it hasn't had much thought put into it, it won't stand out. Maybe I'll feel different when I see it in person.

Looks bland.
Looks boring.
Looks like shit.

No originality. Lamborghini with the remade Countach and now this.

No one coming up with new ideas. Must always look to the past to grab inspiration.
Fucking LOL.
