a spokesperson for the studio says that currently there are ten game adaptations in the Sony Pictures pipeline either in development or production.

This includes the already confirmed projects – the “Uncharted” movie, “The Last of Us” HBO series, the “Twisted Metal” series from the writers of “Deadpool,” and the Chad Stahleski-directed “Ghost of Tsushima” movie. Sony is also involved in the new more horror-toned film reboot of the “Resident Evil” franchise which is currently undergoing reshoots.

One project that is NOT in development Sony though? A “God of War” movie with the spokesperson directly confirming an adaptation is not currently in development “at least not anytime soon.”
