I cannot believe my luck FFS

I am about 5 hours in and loving it. Only issue is I started on a planet which had already been discovered and I am basically following the same path as this other dude.

I figure he is taking the same story path and therefor the same systems as me!!

This happened to a friend of mine and really took the shine off the 'exploration' aspect for him. Damn shame. Bad luck!

Oh if any of you land on a planet with giant jumping pineapple monsters named 'painapple' then run, run for your lives!

wouldn't be bad for certain roleplays. Kinda looks like the dude crashed and broke a wing off, fixed everything else and never replaced the wing.
Thanks. I want a Disable HUD option nooooow!
me too, it's actually an insane oversight. It's so well-suited for it.

Can't wait to pop back on and see what new shit I can find next.

When Base Building comes out...lawd...there goes my free time.

I came across this one planet and it was fantastic. Super rainy, super cold and it had a whole bunch of friendly aliens, and creatures as well as GIANT caverns. I knew immediately that's where I'm building my base. I named it Izuulvestia. Hope someone comes across it. It's spectacular.

I don't know about the base building thing... But a survival tent? Absolutely. Something that can be quickly unfolded and allow the player to recover in hazardous environment, will be nice to properly be able to explore without having to keep darting back and forth between safe havens.

I mean... Your ship serves almost that exact purpose

edit: something you can take in caves would be amazing for sure.

I'm sure its been discovered and shared but worth mentioning again.

Worlds with lethal Sentinels (that will attack you on-sight and send the dogs after you) have an item called "Gravitino Ball" which can spawn. It'll be a green marker when you use the scanner and in-game, it is a red ball which turns into a bright light as you approach it.

You can farm these incredibly easily. They've got a high spawn rate and sell for a decent amount of units (varies per system).

Grab as many as you can, head to the space station, sell them and return to the planet and repeat.

This will seriously help getting enough Units for a new ship, multi-tool and suit upgrades.

I'm five systems away at this point. with the talk of base building being added in the future I named my starting planet my username THE ORIGIN and each system separate stages of my journey. My plan is to go as far as I can to the center and turn back around if they ever add the base building to the game. I vow to return to my original planet and build a monument to my journey.

Wow 6 planets in this system, none with any life. 3 with graviballs everywhere. Got the rank 10 for 100%ing planets lol.

One more jump to an atlas interface. This is the anomaly that gives the atlas pass right? It's been 10 systems now.

While true it also drinks fuel on every take off and as someone who wants to play as an explorer constantly hoping my ship forward with me just doesn't feel right. When off hiking I don't keep walking back to my car and driving it further forward for the next stint.

Wow 10 systems and no space anomaly?

Hm... are you usually supposed to get the blueprint to craft Antimatter during the hyperdrive tutorial? Because I can't seem to craft any. I have a HD, got antimatter from an alien, crafted a warp cell, and then switched to the pre-order ship. Hope I didn't just screw myself.

Yep because this game has some shoddy coding regarding reloading without rebooting.

I think you're probably ruining the game for yourself a bit by using an exploit to farm money, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ya'll ready for this?!

No... because there is a photo thread for this stuff: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=213214851

Haha, that asymmetrical robot has a little R2-D2 on it's right(our left) side

Uh oh, I abandoned my ship after getting my warp drive - before heading to another solar system.

Now I don't know how to create antimatter to fuel my new ship. Did I screw up, or is antimatter sold anywhere? I've checked about 5 different shops, no luck.

Edit: I see I'm late with this question!

He can still post them here lol

Once you get an Atlaspass you are bound to find antimatter. They are mostly in those red crates you need a v1 for

You can try to get an atlas pass for 'easy' access to antimatter

Could someone help me out? It keeps prompting me to make the Jetpack Booster Sigma when I already have it and it won't go away :(

Is the Atlas pass something you just stumble upon randomly, or is it a narrative thing that pops up after you make a hyperjump? I'm still in my first system.

:/ k thx for the stone atlas I just want your damn pass. Do I have to manually scan every time I enter a system? Does it spawn again or do I have to try to go all the way back to the way I came?

Finally found a couple exosuit upgrades. Now up to 14 slots. Also found a crashed ship for once, but it only had one more slot than my current one so it's not really worth it.

I just accidentally stayed up until 3 AM playing this game. I'm going to be dead at work tomorrow, ughhhh.

Also fuck flying aliens. I literally had one alien left to catalog to complete the planet and it was this stupid small flying thing that I couldn't scan or shoot because it was so small and fast. Fucking hell, I spent twenty minutes running around following this stupid flock of birds before finally giving up and leaving the planet. Ugh.

On my third system now - have a new ship, a decent amount of exosuit inventory space, and a decent mining tool (with grenade launcher!). Starting to get the hang of this, although exploration is starting to get a little repetitive and overwhelming with how much there is to discover.

I think its both.. When you see space anonaly pop up go there and get an item that will aid you

Okay, thanks. I see in the comments of the Eurogamer article about the hyperdrive bug that many are saying after you jump the game should tell you where to find the antimatter blueprint. Little hesitant to jump and then be stuck in another system, but I haven't seen anything in this system, so yolo

I just spend a few hours mining some precious respources and selling it. Having lots of money is key. Then I go around buying up any upgrades I can then I go back to the mining and collecting treasures. Shits fun. Get to see some cool shit along the way.

Super excited for tomorrow. Right before bed I found a water planet with underwater buildings and sea life to explore.

I lose time playing this game. I start and all of a sudden four hours pass.

guys im loving this game but in some things im fucking lost:

1. how do i get the atlas pass?
2. whats the best way to make money for ships?
3. how can i get more upgrade slots for my multitool?#
4. how can i get the fuel for the warp?

Has there been any talk about future updates and new features? I know someone mentioned some kind of base building or large freighters for storing multiple smaller ships but don't know where it was said.

I know this game was made by a small team of people but it blows me away how many of the same resources they used. I've seen the same 3 building interior and exteriors on every single planet, without even any sort of color change. I just don't understand why so many assets are the same. The game is a great concept and I enjoy it for what it is but it definitely feels like it needed another year of dev time to get rid of the repetition that just plagues what it wants to be.

Wow so I should have spent more time trying to find
drop pads for inventory space

What's a good way to consentienly find beacons?

I also thought they said something along the lines of this never happening!
