According to Doctor Campbell based on South Korean study.
Good news.
That's not exactly what the study showed.
The study showed that; those who had been infected, were thought to be recovered, but tested positive again were not actually sick again or able to infect others. It showed they were likely shedding dead virus.
It's safe to assume there's some level of immunity once you have antibodies, but we have no clue how long that lasts.
Dr Campbell is pretty confident that immunity can be 1 year or maybe even 2. So far he has been pretty spot on with his commentary, but yes we will have to wait some time to see how long immunity lasts.
At least this study is showing those concerns from a month or ago are unfounded and recovered people aren't being reinfected or having the virus reactivate, it was just the testing.

But that's what he said. The tests they had were extremely sensitive, hence why they tested positive again.
We can’t know how long the protection lasts because the virus has only been in existence for what? Six months? So only time will tell. But this is unquestionably good news.Ok so Dr. Campbell is confident, now let's have multiple studies done and peer reviewed which says definitively that this is fact. Otherwise....meh.
NOOOooOOO this is the deadliest virus ever and is totally unique and our immune systems no longer function!!! STAY INSIDE!!!
Immunities aren’t all or nothing. Even after some protections fade, usually reinfections later in life tend to be much less severe. Your body has systems besides just antibodies that help it recognize pathogens it has seen before. Also, no one knows the length of immunity because the virus hasn’t been in existence long enough to be studied. It’s likely all the people who have had this virus are still immune to it. We’ll have to see how long that lasts.Immunity lasts a year or two? Sounds like we are screwing this up and ensuring healthy people will be exposed multiple times throughout their life, instead of just getting on with it.
