It's a rectangle with a screen, of course it's going to look like another rectangle with the same sized screen.

If it's decent enough, has all the Google stuff if it makes its way westwards, and you're not too fussed about which OS you're using, this sounds like a great deal, providing the price tag after tax isn't suddenly inflated considerably in your market. Who cares if it looks a bit like the iPad Mini. The Mini forfeited its status this year when Apple came out with the comically rip-off Mini 3 while its virtually identical predecessor is £80/$100 cheaper.

AP update:

Update #1: According to Gigaom and an Intel representative we reached out to, the N1 will indeed ship with Google apps, such as the Play Store. This is great news for everyone who started to reconsider getting this tablet just because it may not have gapps.

Update #2: John Kneeland, a Nokia PM, says the tablet's hardware and software were designed and implemented by Nokia, with manufacturing being handled by Foxconn. This fact should silence the critics who were quick to accuse the N1 of not being a "true" Nokia device but rather a rebranded variant of some other tablet.
