Just saw Captain Phillips. WOW. Incredible movie. I loved every last minute of it.

Of the Best Picture nominations, I still need to see "Philomena" (I'll probably see it tomorrow). My favs in order:

1. Captain Phillips
2. Gravity
3. 12 Years A Slave
4. Her
5. Dallas Buyers Club
6. Nebraska
7. American Hustle
8. The Wolf of Wall Street

I wouldn't mind "Captain Phillips" or "Gravity" going home with the big prize. Those two were a peg above the rest, IMO.

In wikipedia it says it's a british-american film. I don't think you can clearly say it's a british film only just because it was made in the UK.

It's the same as Harry Potter, produced in the UK and distributed by an American studio.
