You should definitely see the bigger, clearer version of that picture. It looks HORRIBLE. Gran Turismo 3/4 passed it by a fair margin.

agreed. all the magazine pictures of the PS2 demos get extra anti-aliasing, not from being pre-rendered, but from being magazine pictures.

Everone should wait a year. Microsoft has something better coming. It's called XBOX and will have three times the graphics power of the PlayStation 2.
