So, I asked my roommate if she was going to be here Christmas Day and she said she had no reason not to be. My elderly neighbor also asked if my roommate could help her with food preparation and whatever else, to which she agreed.
So Monday afternoon, I noticed her stereo wasn't on which was unusual because she always sleeps with her stereo on.
Later on at night when she usually wakes up, I noticed there was no light.
I started to get suspicious and then realized that she probably wasn't home. Tuesday was the day she was supposed to help my elderly neighbor with food preparation. Again, this was Christmas Eve. So I waited and she never came back. The next day was Christmas Day and she still wasn't here. Like I said above, I asked her if she was going to be here Christmas Day and she said there was no reason that she wouldn't be here. Well, she wasn't here and my neighbor brought over a whole meal for the both of us. My roommate knew about this in advance.
So what did my roommate do? She went over to a friend's house and had dinner with her family. She completely dissed me. She completely dissed my elderly neighbor that she was supposed to help the night before.
To top things all off, I got a call from an old friend who wanted to hang out on Christmas evening and because she was absent and I have two dogs that I need to be watched, I was very hesitant to go out. As you can expect, she was still not here. She said she would be here by midnight and if I could just leave the dogs home alone for 8 or 9 hours to which I said is quite a long time to leave the two dogs alone.
Well, my roommate actually showed up at 8:00 p.m. but it was still too late because I passed out on the couch expecting nothing to happen and I missed my opportunity to go out with my friend on Christmas evening.
So pretty much my Christmas Eve and Christmas day has been ruined thanks to my roommate being selfish.
I swear if I did not like her for one increment, I would have thrown her ass out. I'm really fucking livid right now.
