The blue parts don't light up because they aren't part of the button. It's like a hole cut out of the center. Other than that, the entire rest of the button is clickable.

I was thinking the same thing Maybe I'd have to listen to it again but other than being gainfully exployed -- I might be missing a few of the "impressive" jobs that he listed. It is impressive at his age to have done so much, but it doesn't seem like the jobs he's held have any real huge significance. How's the tech industry in france?

There is a clear distinction in what's included and in formatting. It tends to focus more on relevant work experience, publications, etc. If you go into research, they ask for a CV, not a resume.
