Took a business trip to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. I came back with one big question for my European friends.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
As someone from the Netherlands (the country that has Amsterdam as its capital city, Saying this because I met people who genuinely have no fucking idea that Amsterdam is a city and not a country), I can tell you that Amsterdam is a scumbag city that apart from the buildings doesn't represent the country or anything Dutch. Only tourists, expats and mobsters live in Amsterdam. Fuck that place.

Hoi! Groetjes uit Amsterdam! 👋

Sorry I've never actually had to spell it before going to the continent of assutopia. 🤷‍♂️
You never went to any of the cities you mentioned in OP at all. Certainly not for a business trip.

What job was it for? You can't even spell deodorant.

I'm calling you out as a liar.

I don't think I've met any anyone in most of Europe or Britain where I've lived for up to 12 years who didn't either shower or bath, regularly.

Curious as to what general demographics the OP works with. Just because you're in London doesn't mean your working with English people.

Same goes for any other country. Now however I did have to go to a business trip for 2 weeks out east (won't name and shame) and that was a culture who straight up didn't shower.

They literally laughed when i Said I wanted to get home and shower after a long day in the heat.

Finally you have somewhere like south africa where I am and it has extreme poverty, you can't expect someone who can barely afford to eat to be super clean, it's awful but some people aren't just being lazy, they literally don't have the choice to do so.

You're not necessarily wrong, but Amsterdam hosts a special breed of idiot though.
Especially trash. There's trash and litter everywhere. It's disgusting.
Cleaners were on strike once, and people complained there was filth all over the place.
Laughably enough, when people told interviewers on the news that, the strike had yet to begin.

I have been doing some research and it seems EU and more specifically in my research.. London .. has always had a smell problem with the city and its people.
In fact there was the GREAT STINK that was recorded in 1858 which led to research on how stinky it was from 1800 to 1900 and also lead to changes in the cities sanitation policies and started programs to promote hygiene since a lot of people only bathed a few times a years.

aka.. wash your ass mate!

I neglected to shower yesterday for the first time in…well, probably the last time I went camping over a year ago. And dead god when I sat down to do my morning business did I realize the mistake I had made.

Clean your junk and taint you filthy animals. I feel gross if I don’t shower every morning and again if I somehow do some strenuous activity during the day.

I have a few friends and family members who swear that after giving up deodorant that after a while their bodies adjusted and don’t smell anymore…no, you got used to the smell you morons. I can smell you on the other side of the room and my house has an after smell when you leave.

America is not packed like Europe, so it smells less here. People here in America don't wash their hands when they go to restroom.
I am amazed how many people will talk on the phone while using the bathroom., do their business while talking on the phone, then walk out without washing their hands. It seems to be the same type of people too.
