Why no PSP hardware numbers ?
Is the Vita also going to be excluded?

It's still just August and the 3DS has a limited library still. Expexting more than double sales is just stupid.Rhindle said:So basically both the 3DS and the PS3 price cuts flopped.
At least Nintendo managed to keep the 3DS on life support, so they can keep hoping/praying to turn things around over the holiday season.

Sonys had it done in their favor before in multiple regions. Dont recall anyone complaining then and at this point the promotion ran from May to September 3rd. Odd to start bitching about it nowGTP_Daverytimes said:Isn't it dishonesty to count free giveaways as SOLD?
Puppet Shadow said:Holy crap at the software numbers! That has to be the lowest #1 game for a September this gen. And considering that's all sku's? Wow.

Thats true.Mrbob said:Well it doesn't include PC digital sales.

I would not engage in this kind of math. It leads down a dark path of chartz.Zerokku said:Not Steam though. And while it may not have been an exclusive, it was very much a game plenty of people would get on PC over consoles.
The estimate I saw in the steam thread is around 500k for PC alone, judging by the the max number of players playing at once (Which has been around ~50k. If Im not mistaken the logic is from a couple of comments from developers that have essentially said that for a game to have that many concurrent players, it needs to have sold around 10x that number).
I bet Steam sold at least this many. Sucks that Valve doesn't give out numbers, you'd think it be a great opportunity for Valve to point out how they can sell games.Wallach said:It's only 5 days, still pretty good numbers. It's not the kind of game that I think would have had a pre-order base.
Wouldn't be surprised if Steam actually pulled higher sales than that in this period.

We'll find out total sales/shipment numbers from Square Enix in their fiscal report, which will include the PC digital SKU.

I see like 6 of my XBL friends playing Deus Ex. Usually when its that much, I know a game has done good.
But 244k across all platforms? That is just shocking.

There's a good chance the same skus will sell less than that over the next 30 days.Clevinger said:Is 244k in only 5 days really that bad?
