Playstation family once again out sold MS.

The goalposts just keep being moved.

Sony didn't do anything wrong with PS3. People are just too cheap and/or poor to buy the more expensive, but more feature-packed PS3 compared to Wii and X360. But yet, they're willing to be ripped off by the likes of Apple and buy overpriced iPods and iPhones. Most of the hate against the PS3 stems from the fact that people don't have enough money or don't want to spend it to purchase the PS3, so they bash and troll to make themselves feel better about not having a good console and can't play the exclusive games that are on it.

360 did great in the fall/holidays, but really badly the first 2/3 of the year. It's similar to the year before. That's one of the things I wonder about for 2009 - how can MS keep their sales up before the holidays?

1) Wii sells significantly less than would be expected of a system that sold 2.1 million in November. Clearly this is an issue of supply, but whatever the cause, the problem is there.

2) Every single game the top 10 on PS3/360 is a shooter. Expect this genre to continue to dominate those platforms.

3) Four of the five Wii games in the top 10 are developed by Nintendo.

4) Mario Kart DS re-enters the top 10 in its

5) Looking at the top 10 titles of the year, the top 4 are all for Wii.

6) Of the PS3/360 titles in the top 10 for the year, all are shooters save Madden at number 9.
