I will bet my buttcheeks, soul, and unborn children that Smash WiiU doesn't "monster 2 months at the top".It will. Watch it.
Sony + Grand Theft Auto V will win November.
This has seemed pretty obvious even as of five years ago. PS3 had a ton of good exclusives in 2009 and the price drop to $299, but Xbox 360 was the system that people played Modern Warfare 2 on.I feel on the whole we continue to see the importance of third parties rise versus what the first parties are able to put out.
Obviously there are exceptions like Smash, but third parties are releasing the vast majority of major hits and console selling titles these days.
Told ya that
Sunset wasnt charting
PS4 was winning.
Thanks for the hint MS. Also thanks for making November a lock for Sony due to how atrocious MCC has been
It's all about picking the right horse in terms of co-marketing.I feel on the whole we continue to see the importance of third parties rise versus what the first parties are able to put out.

Driveclub is also a pretty great game.
Yep, was gonna include in my edit, the new releases in themselves would probably be enough to fill the all-formats, with those holdovers as well as all the new releases, while it may chart, I can't see it charting high.A lot of sports games hold well into the November season as well, especially NBA.
Well it's a good thing Evil Within charted considering its apparently ridiculous marketing budget. That game was EVERYWHERE for a few weeks.
Could easily have achieved 250k+ at 9th place, why is that a bomb?
Figured it would do at least reasonably well. First big exclusive in some time and it had a decent marketing push.
That was the old way. Used to be so good. This way is kind of misleading. People think evil within sold good but hypothetically it could have sold 400,000 combined.
Sony + Grand Theft Auto V will win November.
Great to see Evil Within at 3. It overpreformed but it definitely deserves it.
Sunset Overdrive was a very average game from the get-go. It's not really a shock to not see it there.

Drive Club released on Oct 7 and didn't chart but it's probably do to poor marketing - I didn't see any commercials for this game and I watch a lot of TV...
From Nintendo via GamesBeat:
"Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has sold 1.2M copies in the U.S. and is the 10th Nintendo 3DS game to sell at least 1M units in the U.S. Also, through the first 10 months of 2014, total sales of Wii U hardware and software have increased by 47 percent and 84 percent, respectively, over the same period in 2013."
My guesses...
250k retail, 150k digital and 10k bundled.
Honestly close to 500k does not sound like a bomb for a new IP.
I am betting 300k-500k with all copies counted.
Sony + Grand Theft Auto V will win November.

Will they survive MotorStorm Apocalypse AND Driveclub? No. They survived Motorstorm Apocalypse, they will survive this.

I thought so too, but we do not know the whole story. Given the size of the team, I have to wonder if Sony's penny pinching meant not enough resources/expertise.

Where is she?!Just not the same without Aquamarine.

Do you seriously think 400k would be bad for a game like TEW?

Wii U HW should be around 68K then. From Nintendo via GamesBeat:

bombed because it was the next hope after titanfall
Sunset is not the big platform exclusive with the lowest sales this month guys. Neither is B2.
I will bet my buttcheeks, soul, and unborn children that Smash WiiU doesn't "monster 2 months at the top".
That notion is beyond ludicrous.

Need to look up last month's Smash.
Did they ever announce if the GTA V bundle is coming to the USA?Sony + Grand Theft Auto V will win November.
DriveClub is an amazing game, I just can't understand people saying its bad because the online is broken.
