if anybody cares. Labour is the current government, fighting to stay in. with coalition, they should have the 61 seats needed. curse me for being 1 day late to vote from overseas :(

ah, so you finally made it to amsterdam? don't get lost in the red-light district! :)

I live there! :lol, it's crazy here. I love it. Heineken brewery and a boat ride round the canals today!

I don't like all the red tape for being allowed to stay here, but thats probably a worldwide thing. City rules and we got an Apartment right in the centre, which is apparently hard to do. phew.

Looks like we won't have to wait three years to do it all again. What a complete and utter mess. That pig Rodney Hide sticking around disappoints me greatly.

I'm stoked, labour snuck in. good job. thats going to benefit people with student loans massively.

Of course, but in my opinion it is fiscally irresponsible (not that National's tax cuts weren't) and I just don't see how it helps the country. There's already too many people in tertiary education and I believe it is better to start encouraging people to look at other options such as apprenticeships and remove the second class stigma associated with them.

This was an election where the selfishness that has grown in New Zealand society in the last 30 or so years came to the forefront, at the cost of the bigger picture. Very sad, in my humble opinion.
