Just a retard I guess. And he wasn't in any bike lane. I had stopped in the road, with my blinker on, to turn into a parking space. He, who was a few cars back, did not want to stop (my guess is he was late for class). He pulled to the right along the side of the road and as I was turning right, I almost ran him over. I never saw the guy. And there was no bike lane between the road and the parking spots that line it. So it was his fault, huh? That bastard!

And sorry for the misused words. I'm not up on bike lingo. So is it like this?

Yeah that' guys an idiot. I don't mind cyclist on the road cause they go 15-20 miles an hour anyway. Bicyclist just dicking around on the road instead of the sidewalk really grinds my gears.

Bottom line is: You are protected in a heavy car, and he is out in the open on a bike.

Legally if you hit a cyclist you are ALWAYS AT FAULT.

Were you parrellel parking, or turning into a spot, where had you positioned yourself?

In terms of courtesy If you had stopped and were turning right into a spot, you are at fault, there, if you had pulled to the side where he shouldn't have been able to get to your right, then he's a dick.
