Aside from the questionable cosmetic value, the Thump has a whole lot more working against it. First of all is it's capacity, a meager 128/256 MB. Second is the price, $400/$500. Third and finally, it doesn't even fit most people right and the controls on the rims are way too clunky.
It is a neat prize to get but I would never tell someone to put a dime toward buying one.
