Cathead does look stupid, and I'm sure lizard head will look stupid to wearing HUMAN clothing.

its for that reason I've always been against non-human creatures wearing human clothing. I guess BethSoft couldn't come up with different clothing types for the various races.

well i know that, but this looks worse than FFXI and lineage II and its on a next gen console.

Does the fact that it's massive really mean that it has to look like a cluttered mess? It's what's actually there that gets to me. It looks like the AD fell on his head and suddendly lost all sense of balance, and the overall style makes me wonder if they used the local medieval fair as a reference point for the visual presentation.

That said, the pictures to look somewhat underwhelming. What's strange is that it looked much better when I played it last month at the NYC press event. Maybe it's a case of bad screens...

Also, you'll be disappointed if you're waiting for the animations to sell you on the game's graphics. They're only marginally improved.

Oblivion looks EXACTLY like Morrowind in that the quality of the graphics are totally hit and miss. The technology is there, and some of it looks really steller, and some of it is just horseshit. Like Bethesda has some really awesome artists, and a lot of really bad ones.
