He shows passionate devs who worked on og game. Their reasoning for why the grass is green (literally)
The game is their vision, creation of that time, those people.... to be painted over.
This is kinda existential.
I usually like remasters more than remakes with some exceptions like RE4 remake etc which coexists alongside original.
There is some magic about the graphics from 20 years ago. try DMC3 or RE4 og for example. Art and tech overcoming limitations in unique ways only possible at that time.
It is something to keep and not forget even if remasters and remakes change everything. The original should always be available.
(btw, I've not played the oblivion remaster yet. I think it looks ok I guess. Kinda weird faces and brown grass)
