Todd gives Skyblivion Modders free copies of Oblivion Remastered - no intention of shutting down Skyblivion

In all seriousness...why care? Bethesda haven't made a good rpg in a long time. Why do people magically expect it to be good if they go back to the elder scrolls setting?

Because what people like about games such as Oblivion and Skyrim are still feasable for them.

Starfield is an outlier because everything is super disjointed and there's no real exploration.

The notion that they havent made a good game in a long time might be true, I did not care for Fallout 4 or Starfield a lot. They were pretty mediocre.

But exploring in Fallout was at least fun enough, even if the rewards were a bit shit

That's super cool of him.

People don't hate Nintendo enough for how they treat their fans fr
if this was true

I mean, yeah. You're right. But I can't help myself. I still like Elder Scrolls... and maybe, just maybe, Bethesda have learned something...

I'm far more interested in the Skyblivion mod than the official remaster. It's great the mod has Bethesda's blessing.
After seeing what most of Remaster has to offer and it's pretty good but am also more impressed with Skyobivion from what's shown so far.

It'll be extremely hard for them to make a bad single player AAA Elder Scroll or Fallout game. Even Fallout 4 while losing some of the good Fallout 3 and NV charm was still loved by the majority after modded it and is still played a lot more daily than Starfield.

The Fallout and Elder Scroll lore combined with the immersive handcrafted content and radiant A.I are unlike any other game.

The only reason why a single player AAA Bethesda game like Starfield would get bad legs is the lore and game just wasn't appealing to most players or modders so the leg for it for really bad. And they toss out the radiant A.I and also handcraft content for randomly generated one. Had they focus on one planet with hand crafted content and with radiant A.I plus a more interesting lore than the game would had a lot better leg and reception, still won't be on the level of a single player Fallout or Elder Scroll game though.

This story has touched me.

So much in fact that I'm now buying my 8th copy of Skyrim.
