Obviously the Pac-10 has no class.

I've bitched about USC running up the score on Arkansas, as well as others.

So I'm watching UCLA and Cal. The game is OVER. 6 seconds left, UCLA has the ball on the Cal 3 (or something like that). All they have to do is TAKE A FUKKEN KNEE.

No - they run it in for a TD.

Classless.

I guess it's just a different form of sportsmanship

Oh yeah MSU-OSU.

i don't know bout MSU over OSU. should be a good game but OSU is really good. and yeah, not everyone has class. But just cuz Spurrier used to run up the score on opponents doens't mean the whole SEC has no class, ya know?

These teams will learn. Some day USC will be out running up the score and Leinart will take a cheap shot and have his leg broken, and Carrol will immediately be blamed and get his comeuppance. I don't compare this to the Bama thing with prothro... but still... you get my point.

anyway, i don't believe in this "running up the score" bullshit. As far as im concerned, keep on trying to score everytime you have the ball. The losing team never tries to stop scoring, why should the winning team?

By all means you keep trying to score... but you get your starters out of the game. If a coach has his bench players in the game and still wants to run up the score, fine. More power to him. But it's sooooo stupid to be up by 30 points and still have your starters in there.

It was fourth down. If you take the knee, you give the ball back to Cal with time on the clock. You don't do that. And I didn't hear anybody on Cal complaining. It's football.

then why do you mention USC? They have routinely put in John David Booty in blowouts.

cuz of the original post and the arkansas game. remember... i'm in Big 10 country. I'm not allowed to watch pac 10 games (because penn state blowouts over minnesota are more important, than say... USC/ASU), so I haven't even SEEN USC play since last january.

Same here. I'm in Big 12 country, and I haven't seen them play yet this year either. I'd actually rather watch them play then some of the Big 12 Schools, one of which I graduated from.

I'm hoping to see the USC/Notre Dame game this week. And if my luck holds out, I'll get to see it in glorious HD. I've had the new TV for a few weeks, but DirecTV is finally going to be able to come out and hook up the HD this week.

If it's a Notre Dame home game isnt it automatically going to be on NBC?

They do have a contract with them.

No HD? I find that hard to believe. All the Notre Dame games on NBC have been broadcast in HD, and I'd find it hard to believe that they suddenly stop as they face the nations #1 team.

I hope you're right, I'd love to watch in HD, but the TitanTV listing doesn't mention HD, even though it does for many other shows. May be a misprint on their part though.
