The Cena hater dude at the past two Wrestlemanias (the one that Cena posed with) was also obviously a plant. Maybe he's related to "shocked when Cena fails" lady.

He's a "Superfan" or he knows someone in the company. I've sat ringside at a bunch of shows over the past few years, including the last four Wrestlemania's and they ALWAYS seem to be sitting in the first two rows.

They have to know someone in the company and they get comped tickets or they're all just THAT dedicated to WWE. I know they're not plants though, just based on the Wrestlemania thing. Those tickets would be guaranteed to sell for $755 each ($1,000 now for WM 27) and there's no way WWE would turn down that kind of money for plants in the front row all around the ringside area.

Anyone remember the old couple who used to wear really bright clothes? He always used to have a cam hanging from his neck. I haven't seen them in a while.

The guy with the bright pink jacket and the woman with the bright yellow jacket? I've only seen them recently at Wrestlemania's.

One of my absolute least favourite things about wrestling is fans who try and get themselves over. The type who turn up to events in the same outfit every single time.

Green Lantern Fan, that guy is a douche. Every early ROH dvd has him sitting front and center with his Green Lantern jersey and his fucking stopwatch and pad so he can take note of how long each match was :lol

This plant just proves my theory that WWE will hire amateur actors for when Smackdown goes live to give artificial pops and heat (instead of piped in crowd noise).

I'll never forget them piping in crowd noise to try and get Brock Lesnar over. His music would hit and the crowd would be absolutely dead. Nobody would even move. Yet, somehow, it seemed as if the roof was being blown off the stadium by crowd noise.

I hope this thing with Cena lasts until Survivor Series, would only seem fair.
My idea so far has some merit, instead of Darren Young it was a season 2 guy. They will have the face Cena in a heel group, doing their "bidding" while Cena breaks Nexus from within. It will end with the feud at survivor series, a 6 on 6 leader of Nexus battle royle where Cena will take leadership from Barret and the Nexus will become a face group, when Genesis premiers. Facton on faction hasn't been done in a while, and it could shake up the ratings with a side of WWE draft at the end or during.

Prediction:

Tonight, Live on Monday Night Raw (the longest running weekly episodic televisual series on TV), WWE will take the Cnexus angle in a completely stupid and pointless direction that will kill any hype they developed last night.

Namco :lol

Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of mobile, iPhone and PC games for mass-market casual gamers, today announced a partnership with TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Entertainment LLC, the world's fastest growing professional wrestling company, to bring the top talent and action of TNA Wrestling to wireless devices. The game is scheduled to release on iPhone and iPod touch later this year and will roll out on Android, Java, BREW, Windows Mobile, RIM and other mobile platforms in 2011.

TNA Wrestling is set to be the most amazing wrestling videogame in the mobile space yet. Featuring TNA's greatest stars, including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Mr. Anderson, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero, Kurt Angle and more; wrestling fans will be able to experience first-hand all the hard-hitting in-ring action and compelling feuds of TNA's weekly, top-rated show "TNA iMPACT!" on Spike TV domestically.

"TNA has emerged as the most exciting professional wrestling organization in the world, and we are honored to be their tag-team partner in the mobile space," stated Chris Lucero, manager of business development and licensing at Namco Networks. "We are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the amazing stars of TNA Wrestling, as we bring their astonishing athleticism and tremendous charisma to gamers and wrestling fans everywhere."

Speaking of TNA, did anyone else hear about this:

Local authorities were called after a TNA twitter stunt in Columbia, SC yesterday.
Jeremy Borash announced via twitter that he would be at a location near their venue, with a mystery guest, giving out backstage passes (which are just passes for meet and greets backstage during the show). The guest was Shannon Moore. After Moore and Jeff Hardy both repeated the information on their respective twitter accounts (and keep in mind Hardy has over 100,000 followers), there was a literal stampede of fans rushing to the location, a parking lot in front of a Dollar General store.

The manager of the store, seeing the huge mob assembling, called the police. As it turned out, the TNA crew had left before the police arrived. Upon learning of the issue, TNA sent tickets and backstage passes to the store as a "make good."

Some in TNA loved the idea, feeling it was a great way to build buzz for the local events and interact with the fans, giving them an "extra" for their support.

This was posted on Sat. Sounds pretty crazy, imagine how freaked out the manager must have been!

He talked about it last night on the LAW. Interesting use of social networking but definitely led to a public disturbance. The company definitely needs to set some policy for their contests/back stage passes.

They're definitely developing a good rapport with their fans. Now if only they could jump on the bandwagon of getting competent booking/writing. ;)

It would be awesome if they really took the brahma bull by the horns, dumped the old men, set goals for say 2 million viewers (and raise the bar), developed young talent.

Also...with Cena joining Nexus does it smack a little similar to when Hogan joined NWO (obviously different circumstances but company's top face joins outsiders trying to overthrow the establishment).

Of course they're only going to be in the northeast :(

Not only that, but they apparently have seat fillers as well that sit on the side the main/hard camera faces.
Yeah, there's always a group of them. They move them around the arena as needed when there are spaces that need to be filled during scenes where there will be crowd shots.

Wow that is pretty bad Impact is almost getting the same ratings as Smackdown and this was a heavily hyped Smackdown.

Ah, you'll get no sympathy from me, as i'm stuck half the world away :D

JAPW also announced that they've signed Jushin 'Thunder' Liger vs 'Lightning' Mike Quackenbush :O - proper dream match right there, Quack's a huge fan of Liger so it must be a great honour to finally get to face him.
