I watched the video of Matt Hardy. I'm glad he got released or will be getting it. It would be cool if he shows up at BFG tomorrow night

Indeed. Absolutely shameful Super Rey got pushed over Chavo Guerrero. He was closer to Eddie than Super Rey was, and is a better wrestler. Granted, merchandising isn't on his side, which is why Rey is pushed to the moon, while Chavo gets relegated to Superstars.B-Rad Lascelle said:I miss Eddie Guerrero.

That sir is the most funniest thing I have read in this place in ages and Rafa is the one known to say funny things.JdFoX187 said:You make fun of Alberto, the most talented man in the WWE, and then turn around and say MVP has "great talent" and is getting wasted? MVP was great as a heel, but the dude absolutely blows as a face, and has Carlito syndrome. He needs to be let go, he's dead weight.
see an actual talented Latino wrestler get pushed for a change.
somedevil said:in his current condition? Also, if he is released wouldn't he have that 90 days clause?
I laugh harder than that every time I see you try to make a credible post. Go back to joke posting and spamming AJ pictures, it's what you're good at. Because you obviously have no eye for talent when you start calling him Joberto after he loses one match to the returning Super Rey. Get back to me when MVP actually wins a credible match against someone who's not a jobber.spindashing said:That sir is the most funniest thing I have read in this place in ages and Rafa is the one known to say funny things.
Oh lawd :lol :lol
Oh lawd
Let me recollect myself.
Okay. Alright.
As far as heels go, MVP was a more hateable heel than Joberto. Kissing AJ's chihuahua? C'mon son...![]()
No way is Chavo better than Rey. I know people on here like to rip on Rey but come on.JdFoX187 said:Indeed. Absolutely shameful Super Rey got pushed over Chavo Guerrero. Man for as much as you call me out on it, you're one angry dude. It's wrestling, it'll be okay dude.JdFoX187 said:I laugh harder than that every time I see you try to make a credible post. I don't think he should be doing flashy lucha style moves.Bootaaay said:Everyone ends up with a limited moveset in the WWE, it's aggravating. Del Rio is a fantastic talent, but he doesn't do half the stuff he does in Mexico.
It can be attributed to both age and Rey's own body having wear and tear. Also, I guess it is means to not injure others that take the moves wrongly.Dark Ninja said:the only thing i don't like about the current rey is his moveset he doesn't really do anything amazing anymore like he used to he sticks to safe splashes now... i know you can do it at least do a freakin moonsault
DKehoe said:I don't think he should be doing flashy lucha style moves.
Ah ok, I'm not that familiar with his Mexican stuff outside of a couple clips so I didn't realies he also had more suitable stuff. Yeh I agree that he should differentiate himself more. One of the problems with having all their new guys go through developmental is that they all pretty much wrestle the same style. He should use his experience from other places to his advantage and make himself stand out even more.Bootaaay said:No, neither do I, not entirely - but he worked a heel in Mexico for over a year and has more in his repertoire than flashy lucha moves. I just don't think he should be restricted to a typical methodical, bare-bones heel style when he's got a number of power moves that would fit him fine in the WWE like his military press german suplex.

Wait, what? When doesn't a heel have a cool moveset when the heel isn't too generic?shidoshi said:I really don't get the mentality the WWE has about how heels can't do flashy moves. What is more of a threat: a heel who just goes in the ring and punches and kicks, or who actually has a threatening moves set?
If it's a case of being afraid of him getting over due to being awesome, then actually come up with decent writing that makes him a good heel.
somedevil said:in his current condition? Also, if he is released wouldn't he have that 90 days clause?
Kerwin White was a god. I want Chavo and Mr. Ziggles to revert to their Kerwin White-era personas for a match sometime just for the memories.Plywood said:inb4 Kerwin White!
Threatening yes but not stuff that is going to make the crowd cheer.shidoshi said:I really don't get the mentality the WWE has about how heels can't do flashy moves. What is more of a threat: a heel who just goes in the ring and punches and kicks, or who actually has a threatening moves set?
So the writing should have to compensate for a heels in ring style making the crowd like him? How about having writing AND an in ring style which makes the crowd want to see the heel get his ass kicked. The crowd shouldn't think a heel is awesome. It's basic wrestling psychology.shidoshi said:If it's a case of being afraid of him getting over due to being awesome, then actually come up with decent writing that makes him a good heel.

Wrestling's biggest highs are when the crowd thinks the heels are awesome.DKehoe said:So the writing should have to compensate for a heels in ring style making the crowd like him? Austin vs McMahon is pretty much the biggest storyline in wrestling history. A clearly defined face vs a clearly defined heel. When Austin turned heel a large portion of the audience just stopped watching. They didn't want to see Austin as a heel.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:Wrestling's biggest highs are when the crowd thinks the heels are awesome.
"Basic wrestling psychology" died when the NWO, Austin, and the Rock happened.
The fans still thought the NWO was cool, and the male McMahons have taken bumps and did spots like wreckless assholes, which made them awesome to many fans.DKehoe said:Austin vs McMahon is pretty much the biggest storyline in wrestling history. The NWO being booked to look so awesome and not having any credible opponents is one of the things that led to WCWs downfall. The biggest storyline involving the NWO though? When they took the time to build up a credible face (Sting) who the fans wanted to see win.
Vince wasn't a "cool heel"Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:The fans still thought the NWO was cool, and the male McMahons have taken bumps and did spots like wreckless assholes, which made them awesome to many fans.
Heels can have moves that are intimidating sure so if you mean that sort of awesome moves then yeh they can do that. But I was meaning flippy moves which will get a positive reaction from the crowd.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:Like I said, "basic wrestling psychology" doesn't apply anymore. There's no reason heels can't be cool as hell and do awesome moves and still be hated. The company got lazy. Brock Lesnar had a great moveset (helped by how athletic he is anyway), and he was hated.

Like Justin Gabriel and Chris Jericho. (There aren't many "flippy" guys now anyway.)DKehoe said:Heels can have moves that are intimidating sure so if you mean that sort of awesome moves then yeh they can do that. But I was meaning flippy moves which will get a positive reaction from the crowd.
Jericho tones down his moveset when he is a heel. Gabriel on his own isn't over as a heel.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:Like Justin Gabriel and Chris Jericho. (There aren't many "flippy" guys now anyway.)
spindashing said:Well, like Liu said, there aren't that many dynamic crazy flipping guys in the WWE at the moment.
I'd say Primo is another candidate but lol what does he do besides NXT...
Azuran said:There's a reason why people like Jeff, Rey, and RVD haven't turn heel in more than a decade. People just don't wanna boo someone that has awesome looking moves.
I swear, if TNA turns Hardy heel tomorrow, it would be one of the most stupid moves in wrestling history.
Aw come on, JindFoX187. Don't be salty.Jin34 said:He gets paid to do nothing but travel around fucking your girl, that's a pretty sweet gig.

You guys really overestimate how much people give a shit about flippy spots.
Bring back the palace of wisdom, make him heel and give him a new theme.Spirit of Jazz said:Yeah, I think Morrison stands out as someone who was able to do flippy shit during his heel runs.

Are there going to be any matches on the BFG card worth watching? I haven't watched a proper TNA in ages so I can't say I remember anything about it...
spindashing said:Damn, bro. Keep raging. Who shat in your fruity pebbles today?
Relax. Better yet, don't relax because seeing your rage over this is kind of hilarious.
I wonder how you'll take it if the jobbing continues. Or if Joberto gets released.
Obviously you guys can't detect a little sarcasm over the Internet. My point still stands about Alberto. Dude is the most talented guy in the company on the mic, and in the ring. MVP is a shell of what he used to be, and is lucky to even have a job. WWE could easily trim the fat they have on their roster of guys like MVP, Chris Masters, 90 percent of the divas, and others and still put on a better quality show.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:Man for as much as you call me out on it, you're one angry dude.
