yeah, because none of them have the mic skills to turn the crowd against them.
While I won't argue Rey's mic skills, he's never even had a chance to turn heel. I think he'd be awesome in that role. RVD has the mic skills. He's just awesome as a face. Jeff is stale one way or another.

Aw come on, JindFoX187. Don't be salty. :D

Are there going to be any matches on the BFG card worth watching? I haven't watched a proper TNA in ages so I can't say I remember anything about it...

JindFox187?

spindashing said:
Yes. Combination between you and my brother JdFox187.

I swear if they "is" not AAA stars I will riot. :D
No one outside of smarks would even realize who they are, or care. "THEY" is Hogan, Bischoff and Angle. It could work with a little bit of setup. But why would Hogan and Angle try to destroy Abyss if he was their messenger?

But wouldn't that be good? For not many people to know/recognize who they are and make an impact?

Maybe I'm having too much faith in Dixie's abilities and the bookings.

Really They is supposed to be Bischoff and Hogan. Supposedly a couple of AAA guys are supposed to be in the group too.

Fuck it looks like Angle is going to win the title. TNA is hyping Angle vs RVD for the title for the next ppv in commercials. Also Abyss vs Sting. I was really hoping they would let Anderson have a go with the title. He is a decent wrestler and can talk. Angle again is kind of boring, but he can have good matches.
I have absolutely ZERO interest in seeing Abyss vs. Sting. Saw that feud 3-4 years ago and don't feel the need to relive it.

It's amazing how TNA had a potential moneymaker in Angle vs. RVD fall right into their lap as their potential BFG main event, and then they completely fucked it up.

What do you expect? TNA always fucks up their chances just like they fucked up the live Impact. The worst possible scenario is the one TNA will always go with.

Brutus fucking Beefcake? :lol :lol :lol

How is he even looking these days?

Yeah, it's not a joke, but he said he was going to show up in the new group. What do you expect? He is Hogan's boy after all. He got the Nasty Boys on tv in 2010. Here is a recent pic

watching Raw and Smackdown at the same time just opened my eyes to something...Raw doesn't have in-ring graphics during the intros :lol

Boo zebras.

I don't know why TNA even pays him if he's just going to show up fat and wrestle in a t-shirt every 3 months.
Sad that the peak of his career was when WCW went under.

He's my fav wrestler for evar.

Claudio Castagnoli is the new Pro Wrestling Guerrilla champ! He beat Joey Ryan, Brandon Gatson & his tag-team partner Chris Hero in a 4-way match for the vacant PWG title last night at 'The Curse of Guerrilla Island';

The show also featured a number of said to be awesome matches, including; The Briscoe Brothers vs The Cutler Brothers, Ricochet vs El Generico & Chuck Taylor vs Johnny Goodtime.

Sting's actually in great shape considering his age, but he's been suffering through a shoulder injury since the beginning of this year, hence why he's been wrestling in a t-shirt.

He's also my favorite of all-time, and I wish he had just retired at last year's BFG.

omg :lol :lol

With Edge as being a face on Smackdown, E&C actually have a chance of reuniting in the future.

Not to crush your positivity, but tag teams don't survive on WWE. Every time they build up tag teams, they crush them back down to singles competition. :[

Why you gotta Liu Kang Bakes A Pie/JdFox187 me, bro? I thought we were cool. :lol

Good point. It's wishful hoping, but that is one thing I do miss greatly. I would like to atleast see them in the ring together atleast one more time before Christian gets released due to creative not knowing what to do with him...

Sting had really good matches for the first three years of his TNA run, but his last great match was at BFG '08 with Joe, and last match I'd even call decent was a year ago with AJ. Combination of injuries piling up and being 50+ will get you eventually. I don't begrudge him for taking the money though, 500 grand for EASY work is a no brainer.

Nope, they left a couple of years ago I think. Hogan can't be there tonight unless they are trying to swerve us about his condition so it will be interesting to see how they do the they angle. Also, I'm still waiting for the change Dixie promised:lol

I just hope they don't form at the beginning of the show and take over by fucking every match. My guess is it will be Hogan, Bischoff, The Booty Man, Jarrett, Abyss, Kurt Angle, RVD, and maybe a couple of guys that got fired from WWE like Mike Knox and Hurricane. I wanna see Hass and Benjamin too.

I'm going to guess they'll wait until the Abyss debacle to do that.

Jericho interview details:

CHRIS JERICHO COMMENTS ON HIS WWE FUTURE, SAYS WHETHER HE WOULD WORK FOR TNA
by Steven Fernandes @ 1:40 PM on 10/10/2010

The UK Sun has an interview with Chris Jericho, who is currently touring the UK with Fozzy. He mentions that he will always be loyal to WWE and not wrestle anywhere else.

He said, "I have a certain understanding with Vince. Sometimes he gets mad at me, sometimes I get mad at him. But the bottom line is I love wrestling and I love the WWE. I will NEVER wrestle anywhere other than the WWE. That's a given and everyone knows it. I'm a creative person and, just like the boss, I'm going to do things that creatively stimulate me. Vince is surrounded by a lot of yes men and I think he is very refreshed by the fact that I'm not a yes man."

He says his status right now is that he is touring in the UK for the next three weeks, and "what happens after that is what happens after that." He also says when his in-ring career is finally over, he will be done with the business.

That's one of the big problems with the industry right now. All the huge names are leaving the business completely when they retire. NOBODY is sticking around to teach the young guys how to work and put matches together or moving to the announcing table (or even managing). It's giving fans no reason to stick around and watch the product after their favorite wrestler (or wrestlers since we've seen so many stars move on as of late) retires from the ring.

That's a good point, and if there's anyone out there with the diversity of experience to be a great teacher/mentor, it's Chris... but I can see why he wants to leave. He's been a wrestler since he was pretty young and obviously has other aspirations now.

Umm, Jericho is one of the good guys. Always said he doesn't mind helping the younger talent and putting guys over.

The problem is with the WWE, for some reason they don't like their top stars losing to try and therefore helping put other people to the top.

The real problem isn't that wrestlers aren't hanging around but that there's nothing for them to do if they do. There's no booking any more, just writing and they bring outsiders from Hollywood in for that. There's no need to teach how to do a promo or build a character now because wrestlers have to be actors now. It makes more sense to send them to theatre school.

Add in the inevitable backstage politics and carrying on after you hang up your tights is a hiding to nothing.

They = Hogan, Nash, Hall, Xpac-
Possibly Gun and Road Dogg.

The Hogan hospital thing will be treated as a shoot and a work at the same time, same with Nash's retirement bits going around.
Hall is out of rehab from what I hear though it would be kind of an asshole move considering it was Vince who paid for the rehab.

Hell it could always be something stupid like ICP :lol

Would be great if it were the Sinister Minister and a new crew.
