Serious question, outside of say, bringing in The Rock, what exactly could TNA have done with their existing personel to please you guys?

I agree this was a rehash of the Hogan/Outsiders swerve but I'm not sure what they could have done with their existing roster to truly shock people.

Anyone?
Exactly what I've been saying. Point is, they shouldn't have done it at all. Or at least not drag it out for six months.

WHY do they have to shock anyone with these ridiculous storylines? They have a bunch of GREAT wrestlers, yet these old geezers are constantly getting the main event angles, and BTW, how many heel/face changes have we seen this year already? Yeah, I don't need to be shocked anymore, just book the young talent in compelling feuds.

Just out of curiousity, do you think the angle that happened tonight deserved 4 or 5 months of buildup and hype of Abyss destroying people and saying they are coming? Hogan and Bischoff already had control. Now they are just heels, which Bischoff already was when he first came in to TNA.

You're asking an impossible question for WrassleGAF who will never be happy about anything that goes on in US wrestling.

We're happy with quality wrestling -- not stupid shit like this.

They are paid to think of that

Obviously.

I don't know, thinking about it, a better swerve might have been to have RVD, Hardy and Abyss join Dixie Carter in forming a new heel stable.

The angle could be that she wanted control of her company back and by having herself stalked by Abyss and "rescued" by RVD was to throw off people suspecting her.

Now she has played everyone, including Hogan and Bishoff.

There is a new day in the TNA; birth of the Corporation, TNA style.

Still doesn't explain why Abyss and RVD had the brutal match tonight, or why Abyss destroyed him with Janice.

Or how about we just have a clean finish and stop with the pointless stables, and gimmick turns that no one cares about?

The finish devalued the belt, weakened what was a great match until that point, and did nothing to get more people to tune in. How many times have we seen this same faction? Shit 3 months ago Nash, Hall, Waltman, and Eric Young were doing it, going around spraypainting people. It makes no sense at all.

Well, I didn't see that match, however if they went that angle, you make the Abyss vs. RVD match the main event and have the match end before things get overly brutal.

Remember, all we saw with RVD was the AFTERMATH of what Abyss supposedly did to him with Janice when he went to the hospital. They could have revealed that whole thing to have been a work to throw off the fans...

Doesn't matter now--it's a moot point.

And you think I am? Lol.

Both WWE and TNA have the talent for quality wrestling as you put it, but most of it ends up seeming lazily put together. I'm going to have to watch more of Bootaay's videos -- although I do like the soap opera element within wrestling, I love in-ring technical moves even more.

As far as the PPV goes, if this was the end result, we really didn't need this long build up for "THEY." But, whatever. What's done is done, I can't cry over spilled milk even if TNA constantly does things like this. It's unfortunate the first match of the card was more interesting than the end of the card. The main event was pretty good too -- it's just the end that was all kinds of fucked up. It almost felt rushed too. Did Hulk actually need to be there? Not really, and honestly in the shape he's in, he really shouldn't have done that. It was hard to see him make his way to the ring, too. A small part of my childhood died, and I've stayed away from his twitter operation videos too.

Eh, well, we'll see what comes TNA's way this coming Thursday. Hulk came into the business telling us that it was time for the young guys to shine, and here we are still with old geezers at the top of the charts.

It says something about TNA that people tat watch every Impact and Reaction are still confused about the storylines. Do we have to watch Xplosion too? Is that the missing piece?

Jesus, who writes TNA's recaps on their web site? There's an exclamation point at the end of almost every sentence!

Jay Lethal retained the X Division Championship over Douglas Williams after reversing a top rope hurricanrana into a sunset flip for the pin! After the bout, Lethal went into the audience to celebrate with the fans, but was attacked by newcomers Robbie E and Cookie of The Shore! They attacked lethal with the X Title, then Cookie presented the championship to Robbie E!

- In a shocking turn of events, Team 3D came out to make the announcement that they are officially retiring as a tag team in wrestling! However, before they do, they want to face The Motor City Machineguns one last time! Tune into iMPACT on Thursday for more!

In a shocking main event, Jeff Hardy defeated Mr. Anderson and Kurt Angle to become the NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion! During the bout, Eric Bischoff came out, but then Hulk Hogan's music played and he appeared on crutches! Inside the ring, Bischoff took the crutches from Hogan and gave them to Hardy, who used them on Anderson and Angle! Hardy hit the Swanton on Anderson to get the pin and become the new World Champion! After the bout, Abyss and Jeff Jarrett came out to celebrate with Hogan, Bischoff and Hardy! THEY were Hogan, Bischoff, Jarrett, Hardy and Abyss! The most controversial endings in TNA Wrestling history! After the bout, a shocked TNA President Dixie Carter looked on as Rob Van Dam came out to confront Hardy about what he did - in turn Hardy attacked RVD!

Dixie just tweeted:

" Unbelievable. less than 20 seconds ago via Echofon "

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Hogan could barely walk. He had nurses come out with him and had to have help getting in the ring, so I don't think the surgery was fake. This is supposed to be the faction everyone is scared of:lol

Remember Hogan can KO guys whit just one punch, like he did against AJ, Wolfe and Flair.

Dixie needs to go away forever. She has no idea what she's doing.

10.10.10 is surely a night to remember. Nothing will ever be the same. John Cena is in the Nex--Jeff Hardy is a part of THEY.

And I just realized tonight was Big Sexy's last day? Why didn't HE do a "retirement" promo and not the Dudley Boyz who are officially retired but then said they'd wrestle one more match?

Damn are there any other black people in TNA other than Jay Lethal? I mean Devon's leaving so damn. . .

.............

Quite a bit.

Once upon a time, TNA was actually good.

...shame on me for forgetting Pope, oh shit.

Alright. Two black people on TNA. It's on WWE levels with 2 or 3 blacks on each brand. My soul is soothed.

IDK, counting Nexus and Divas, there were a lot of Blacks on the RAW brand.

But Tarver and Black Goku are gone...

:(

Do you watch MMA, spindashing?

I want to, actually. Every UFC match I've seen has interested me in wanting to see more. I've only seen a few matches here and there but I can't call myself a full fledged fan. I need to google some newbie tips, a few matches to get myself going.

I like Black Goku too. He definitely needs to wear Cena's clothes one day to mindfuck us all.

Edit: OJ oh shit. holy shit, I'm forgetting all these black people. Maybe it's me who's racist. Forgive me my minority brothers.

Cool. I ask because your complaints about the product WWE and TNA puts out makes me think you'd really dig the UFC. The characters are much stronger and the booking is far, far, far better than anything in pro wrestling.

Plus there are a lot of explosive and athletic black fighters who don't all play stereotypes!

The shit is uncanny.

How the fuck did the WWE NOT make use of this happy coincidence?!?!

Yes, the captions are in the wrong place...I didn't make the damn thing.

He seemed fine once the crutches were being used as weapons, but the image of him hobbling to the ring was still awful. Why should Bischoff be scared of Hogan when he can't even get into the ring without help? :lol

She should just bang Zorro. If Zorro brought nothing to the ring, him keeping Dixie occupied would do wonders alone. Besides, he's been a AAA lifer, he should be used to banging the boss by now.

He's got supernatural powers like the Undertaker.

So if my count is correct, TNA has turned two of their biggest babyfaces heel this year and teamed them up with older-timers who will most likely get more screen time.

LOL.

I'll definitely check UFC/MMA as a whole out. It all started with the first UFC Undisputed videogame, oddly. I loved the demo, and after that I wanted to check out the actual thing on TV. Shit, the armbar is so lethal in MMA; it's probably why I love to see Joberto using it. :lol

Exactly, wtf! I'm glad Darren Young actually acknowledged his likeness to Cena once. :lol It is fucking uncanny. He's in lowcard hell now, though. I hope he does something before he gets the axe.
