LOL at a point a caller on the LAW brought up-- Angle didn't win (but he wasn't pinned either), so shouldn't he be "retiring?" And at the same time, he just signed a one year contract extension and was promoting this before the PPV. :lol

If I'm not mistaken, the wording was.. if he didn't capture the TNA World Title, but again I could be wrong.

Look at Jericho.

So JWowww will be the one to turn her reality show fame into success? What next JWowww perfume and tig bitties fashion line?

According to TMZ, Jwowww from Jersey Shore has signed with TNA. :lol :lol :lol

Whoa shit, I thought this was a joke since you make fun of stuff like this, but I looked on tmz and you are being fucking serious and they are paying her 15k for one night. Half the wrestlers on the roster don't make 15k in a fucking year working for them.

Speaking of which, what's the story with him?

Why is he gone IRL?

Contract issues?

I assume that he was focusing on his band's tour this fall or whatever. And just general time off. As he mentioned before, most wrestlers get "time off" to just heal up from injuries and stuff, he never really does since never got injured.

Serious question, outside of say, bringing in The Rock, what exactly could TNA have done with their existing personel to please you guys?

I agree this was a rehash of the Hogan/Outsiders swerve but I'm not sure what they could have done with their existing roster to truly shock people.

Anyone?
How far back can we go to fantasy book. The Jeff heel turn isn't the only problem here. Angle should not have had the foolish retirement stip. Anderson should still be a heel/tweener, Pope probably should have been, maybe won the match and Jeff shouldn't be turning heel. "They" has to be someone outside the company. If not then don't do it.

If JWoww is looking for a fight ... JWoww is gonna get a fight -- TMZ has learned the "Jersey Shore" starlet has just signed a deal with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Sources close to the deal tell us JWoww -- real name Jenni Farley -- just signed a one-night deal to appear on Spike TV's "TNA impact!" on Thursday.

We're told JWoww doesn't have a match scheduled ... but she'll "probably be mixing it up" with a couple of Jersey Shore-alike wrestlers named Robbie E. and Cookie.

But JWoww ain't doin' the wrestling thing for free -- we're told she's pulling in a cool $15 grand for the night ... and the two sides are working out a deal to get her to come back to the show.

... and to think, Snooki didn't get a dime when she got hit on television.

Oh my fucking God.

You knew TNA had to do something, their ratings were going up while WWE's were going down, in a few years they might have passed them! They needed to take action.

Zack Ryder has had more of an impact than you marks realized

he scared the fuck of out tna, so now dixie trying to out do vince by getting the real jersey shore peeps

Does TNA not have any fucking clue that Jersey Shore COMES ON AT EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKING TIME AS THEIR SHOW?!?!

:lol :lol :lol SMH @ TNA.

These past 3 months have been some of the most depressing in recently history to be a wrestling fan. I'm honestly having a hard time finding logical reasons for why I'm still following the product in its current state. I just can't stop watching even though it feels like these companies WANT me to.

TNA you asses. I do not watch Jersey Shore but do people really say "my dude"?

Whenever Robbie E says it, is sounds so forced. Honestly Robbie E on the mic sounds so forced. I hear he's pretty cool in ring though...

Yeah the promos these guys cut are fucking horrible. Boring chants broke out at the ppv during his promo. Also Angle seems like he got pissed off Hogan didn't pick him instead of Jeff http://twitter.com/anglefoods1 :lol

Booker T and Stevie Ray in Japan! Also, the Benoit/Ohtani match is all kinds of awesome;

Sasaki & Nishimura vs Harlem Heat - (NJPW 03/14/96)

Kensuke Sasaki & Osamu Nishimura take on Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) in this match from NJPW's Hyper Battle '96 event in Kyoto, which took place on the 14th of March 1996.

Wild Pegasus (Chris Benoit) and Shinjiro Ohtani face off for the vacant WCW World Cruiserweight Championship in this match from NJPW's Hyper Battle '96 event in Nagoya, which took place on the 20th of March 1996.

In other news, Kota Ibushi & Kenny Omega beat Apollo 55 (Prince Devitt & Ryusuke Taguchi) last night for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles when Ibushi pinned Devitt with the Firebird Splash! The match was apparently awesome, and the best match of the PPV, plus it gives DDT their most high-profile championship win ever!

I liked the ending, but felt the PPV didn't really live up to previous BFGs. Good matches, with a couple of greats, but the Eric Young match didn't really fit in and felt like an extra long Impact match. Also, even though it was a good match, Jay Lethal and Doug Williams had no build up and it was hard to get into early on.

Didn't expect the Hardy turn. Loved it personally and it adds a lot to what would have otherwise been a predictable outcome. Really intensifies things between him and RVD. Looking forward to Impact.

Why was there a ladder on the top of the cage and it wasn't really going to be used?

The table?
That spot has been in every Lockdown match since it began. Why are you shocked to see it one more time?

Wow, Jeff Hardy is the perfect case of a waster opportunity. When he left the WWE, he was arguably the top face in the company along with Cena. TNA should have use him as a way to attract younger fans to watch the company. Instead, they completely wasted him and turn him in just another person in the roster.

There's a reason why he hasn't been a heel in over a decade.
That same logic applies to Cena, but everyone wants to see him turn. Where was Hardy going to go from here? Everything he's been doing in TNA is the same he was doing in WWE. I'd say the change was well done.

It also now sets up a RVD vs Hardy title match which should be a treat :D

With that being said, I still feel that ever since Hulk has moved in, TNA has lacked a lot of direction and focus. Also, organization. We see some on TV one week looking like they're going to have an impact, then they are off the air for the next month.

Hogan was all about the young talent of TNA when he came. It was mentioned a dozen times a week, but right now it seems far from their vision. Admittedly some have stepped up (Lethal, MCMG, Williams), but other have faded due to the veterans not knowing when their time is up.

It was all settling and falling into place a couple of months ago BUT they then brought in EV2.0, which shook things, and not necessarily in the right direction. The ECW PPV was good, but them hanging around when it was meant to be over? Nope, that sucked. Just meant more people were pushed to the back of the line. At least they are feuding with Fortune who are brimming with talent and future stars, but the lesser stars such as Jay Lethal will get a lot less air time due to EV2.0.

I reckon that the ratings will continue to be fairly high for TNA over the next month or so after tonight's PPV, so it really is time to quickly push EV2.0 (minus Foley) out of the way and for Morgan, Styles, Pope and Joe to have a major involvement in the months to come.

To my credit, this is the first Lockdown that I've set eyes on. If that's the case, why do they do it all the time?

Hey, MATTHEW, what do you think about Jeff's performance last night?
Interesting.

I dont watch WWE anymore but try to keep up with the news going on so i have heard about all the crap going on with Matt.

Judging from his new 'gimmick' and that video it would seem that he has secretly been building his hype towards joining TNA, especially with the whole "i hard something 7 months ago but didnt want to believe it, but it happened last night" which i would assume means jeff aligning himself with Hogan and Bisch to take over TNA.

Of course Matt could just be crazy and trying to build a chance at TNA wanting him when he is done with WWE but if not than its quite the plan that crossed both companies and i would be very impressed with it.

This Matt Hardy YT stuff is ridiculous. He's like a joke character on a forum, except his forum is the WWE and no employees there care. That video of London spoofing him is pretty good, though.

It's honestly pretty sad. Physically, he's gotten in shape, but I wonder if his mental state at the moment is stable enough.

Then again, like you said, he could be a "joke character" working us all et cetera.

WWE should just give him the slip. I understand they do not want a reformation of the Hardy Boyz, but is it really worth paying him without work and allowing him to do these ridiculous YouTube videos?

so they finally released FATT hardy and now he's gonna use this "family comes first" shit to go to tna?

yay its gonna be so fun to watch fatty and methy slap each other around .....and bleed :|

Hey if Matt Hardy would've shown up last night and been "THEY" it would have been amazing and gotten alot of attention. WWE still hasn't officially announced he isn't with them anymore though.

I doubt WWE cares about a HB reunion, though. Not enough to justify keeping a head case and a drug peddler on the roster, anyway.

So apparently TNA was deciding between whether it would be RVD or Jeff to turn heel. It was brought up that Jeff is such a big star and is so liked by the fans that they shouldnt do it. So because of this they decided that it would be too obvious to turn RVD and so they should turn Jeff :lol

Angle "retiring" is a good move for now. "They" can go on a rampage of destruction and then Kurt gets brought back.

This is the same company that hired Charlie Haas and paid him to stay at home just to keep him from going to TNA...

Haas also wasn't a potential negative headline waiting to happen while Linda's trying to win some election, though.

Someone else put this together:
June 17th- Abyss chokeslams Hardy off of the stage and through a table

June 24th- Abyss tells Hogan "they" are coming and then chokes him while shoving hogans ring down his throat. Later on Hogan hits Abyss with a chair

July 1st- Hogan and Abyss brawl. Hardy makes the save by giving Abyss the twist of fate and a senton. Later Abyss and Hardy have a match full of hatred induced violence.

July 8th- Hardy and Mr. Anderson double team Abyss and hit him with a chair

Aug 19th- Hardy and Abyss have a nearly 5 minute backstage brawl

Oct 7th- Abyss eliminates Jarrett and Hardy from a battle royal costing them "100,000 dollars"

Oct 10th- SWERVE!!!!
