That was awesome. It looked like at one point Cena had tears in his eyes he was so pissed. I hope they pull a swerve at the end of this angle and Cena turns heel.

That was an awesome ending.

You can tell people will erupt when Cena finally snaps.

Odd that no interactions at all between Wade and Orton though.

Fucking shit Impact tapings look horrid. I can't believe this is supposed to be their big change and improve ratings. Great way to blow 15k on JWOW too:lol For anyone who didn't see them before Raw

We open up impact with Hulk Hogan's theme song and Hogan's pyro. Eric Bischoff and Hogan (still on crutches) come out and there is a mixture of cheers and boos in the building. There are some loud "Hogan sucks" chant as Biscoff introduces Hogan. Hogan says, "Enough of the crap" and that it's time to take what is their's. Fans chant "Please retire." Hogan says that Dixie Carter lied to him and sold him a false bill of good when it came to TNA, so now "Hollywood" Hogan is taking over TNA. Bischoff introduces the first member of Team Hogan, Abyss. Abyss hugs them and screams, "They're here!" Hogan calls Abyss his son. Bischoff them introduces Jeff Jarrett, who said that at first, he didn't see eye to eye with them but then realized they are on the same page. Bischoff cut a promo on Dixie, saying Dixie took Jeff's company from him, but Fourtune's music played and out came Ric Flair and Fourtune.

Flair said that Fortune runs TNA, not anyone else. Flair says that tonight, either he or Hogan have to leave TNA forever and they face off, then hug. Bischoff asked if anyone thought that 25 years ago, Flair and Hogan would be on the same team ever. Bischoff then introduced TNA champion Jeff Hardy, who comes out. Everyone in the ring claps for Hardy while the crowd is split. There is a loud "You sold out" chant. Hardy said he didn't sell out, he sold in. Hardy said that he doesn't care about his fans and reveals he was the one who was behind the Abyss attack on Rob Van Dam.

They cut to Sting and Kevin Nash watching backstage. Bischoff asks them to come to the ring and let bygones be bygones. Nash and Sting come out. Bischoff asks them to join the crew but Kevin says, "Thanks but no thanks." He cut a promo saying he is sticking with the TNA family and is "passing on the money this time." Sting says that he loves TNA and history won't be repeating itself, and turns them down as well. Bischoff says the offer stands when they change their mind.

*Madison Rayne cuts a promo and says that Tara beat her at Bound for Glory and that wasn't supposed to happen. Tara comes out and Rayne tells her that she is the only reason that Tara is back in TNA and Tara needs to do the right thing. Tara lays down and lets Rayne pin her. Madison begins celebrating but Mickie James comes out and says that she came to TNA to make history, so why not let it be tonight. Madison shoved Tara into her and ran off.

*Kurt Angle came out to no music to make a statement. There's a big "please don't go" chant from the crowd. Angle says he re-injured his ribs and his neck last night but before he announces his retirement, he wants answers. Out comes Jeff Jarrett, who tells him that Angle said he would retire if he didn't win the title. Angle says that he was the one who out TNA on the map, that his loss at the PPV was the final nail in TNA's coffin and Jarrett can have his ex-wife, but Angle is getting a piece of Jeff. Angle throws the mic down and goes for Jarrett but the two security guards take Angle down and handcuff him. Jarrett begins beating down. Taz finally takes of his headset and comes down, telling Jarrett to back off. Jarrett finally does and we don't have any official announcement of Angle retiring. Good segment.

*Samoa Joe defeated Abyss by DQ when Abyss attacked Joe with the ring bell, busting him open. Before Abyss could do any more damage, Rob Van Dam hit the ring and cut a promo calling out Hardy. Hardy appeared on the screen, talking about friendship. Bischoff comes out and says the main event tonight will be RVD vs. Mr. Anderson with the winner getting a shot at Hardy. RVD immediately accepts.

*Fortune defeated Pope Dinero in a four on one handicap match after Beer Money hit DWI on Pope, then beat him down after the match. Pope got in a good amount of offense.

*The Shore comes out and cuts a promo on The Jersey Show. JWoww comes out with The Beautiful People. Cookie makes fun of JWow, leading to a catfight between the two. Cookie ends up carried to the back by Robbie E.

*Ken Anderson vs. Rob Van Dam goes to a no contest after Eric Bischoff pulls the referee out of the ring. Jeff Hardy shows up and uses a chair on both of them. Some fans threw plastic bottles at Hardy but Universal security removed them immediately.

Okay, this Wade promo is fucking awesome.

I have to agree. I love how he's got that cocky arrogance, continually taunting Cena, and trying to goad him into attacking, but knowing that Cena won't do it for risk of getting fired.

I loved the promo too, but did you not see Punk's promo on Raw 900? That was pure gold.
I think in terms of how it sets up the rest of the Cena in Nexus storyline it was fantastic, which means more. Cena can go heel in several ways, he can stay face for different reasons, Wade looks even more like a boss, it adds the lockerroom component to the mix...it just did a lot for the story. Really well planned promo, which is odd to say about a RAW event.

Wade's definitely taken the ball and is running with it, Bo Jackson style.

Touché! Indeed I really loved the promo tonight, FANTASTIC way to end the show. I still think the Punk one was better, but you are right with your point of Wade's being more important in the grand scheme of things.

Overall Raw was really good tonight. Only bad stuff to me was: Ryder jobbing to the Cobra, Randy's botch, and the Wade WTF CAW. Besides that there was lots of good wrestling (even Cena and Orton got enjoyable matches pulled out of them by their opponents tonight) and a fantastic TROLLAN WADE promo to end it.

Looks like Jimmy Jacobs vs John Moxley will be announced shortly for Dragon Gate USA's 10/29 iPPV 'Bushido: Code of the Warrior' (awful name, for what is sure to be the best PPV of the month - not that it has much to top).

Missed Raw but I'm catching up. The 450 botch was crazy. It looked like Orton was too slow to roll out of the way, but Gabriel also went farther than he normally does.

I will modify the Michael Cole BINGO card, but I don't know what to replace yet.

I'd like to do this weekly or monthly if possible. It was fun :lol

Is Alex Riley related to Michael Cole? They share a passing resemblance.

I agree on the promo by Barrett. Though Genesis and Husky aren't quite making sense, since they haven't explained their involvement in the HITC.

And WTF @ Santino's finish. Tamena is pretty sexy too.

And I really wish they'd build the Orton/Barrett match more.

Wade's CAW looks like an elongated Cody Rhodes.

Riley is Cole's son.

I really thought they did a good job this week with turning the wheels on what could be a very wise Cena heel turn. As the weeks go by, they're really working on turning the fans on Cena by constantly questioning his character due to the fact that he HAS to follow what Barrett says.

Honestly at this point it has to come down to Cena helping Barrett win the belt eventually & cut a vicious promo on the fans for turning on him.

holy shit that was amazing promo by barrett just give him the damn championship now :D

man i shouldve been watching raw instead of mnf :lol

No Riley and Cole aren't related

Genesis and Husky most likely went to Baretts aid to get themselves contracts for RAW

They are building the Orton/Barett match - stare down last week match with one of Baretts crew and a match with Baretts latest member next week.

I don't understand why if Cena LOSES that Husky and Milgicutty are on Nexus...it seems thats what Wade Barrett wants anyway??...that stipulation doesn't make sense to me.

Best fued Cena has been in that I can recall. It's awesome actually.

I'm guessing Cena is to let them win.

Because Barett wants Orton in essentially in a 2 on 1 handicap match. And Cena will probably not allowed to tag in.

Plus it would be more uncomfortable if the two men that got you into this situation he has to work with them.

Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin return to ROH for the TV Tapings in Louisville!

Ring of Honor is proud to announce that Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin, the World’s Greatest Tag Team, have been signed to appear at the ROH on HDNet national television tapings in Louisville, Kentucky December 9th and 10th. The events, “ROH–TWO NIGHTS ONLY”, will mark the first time ROH’s TV program has been taped outside Philadelphia, and was selected for two nights in a row in Louisville because of the tremendous demand for seats at the July debut event.

Haas and Benjamin are both looking forward not only to returning to Ring of Honor, but to the city in which both of them lived and wrestled early in their careers. Shelton, in particular, underwent his first wrestling training in Louisville in 2000 with Ohio Valley Wrestling under ROH executive producer Jim Cornette and OVW Owner Danny Davis.

“I can’t wait to come back to the Davis Arena”, Shelton said, “because the Louisville fans and OVW are like home. In New York, the ROH fans took to Charlie and I like we’d been there all our lives. Mix them both and these will be two really big nights for us.”

Charlie is equally as excited. “The ROH fans reignited my passion for wrestling, the passion I had when I was wrestling for Danny Davis in Kentucky and Les Thatcher in Ohio in developmental. We wouldn’t miss the chance to come see those people again.”

There are five other ROH stars appearing on those tapings that might have an interest in the appearance of the two men that many call The World’s Greatest Tag Team–the current ROH Tag Team Champions the Kings of Wrestling with their manager Shane Hagadorn, and Mark & Jay, the Briscoe Brothers. All three of these teams have a claim to being the best tag team in wrestling, and many supporters to back them up. It’ll be interesting to see all of them under the same roof, along with 25 other superstars and 12 big matches each night, at the home of OVW — The Davis Arena at 4400 Shepherdsville Road in Louisville.

A select number of VIP seats remain, as well as general admission, but we expect demand for tickets to exceed capacity on Thursday, December 9th and Friday December 10th, so please make your advance ticket orders if you are coming to avoid being left out. The Champions’ Table package is still available for the December 9th event. You get two leather recliners with a table, on a riser less than 15 feet from the ring, comes complete with waittress service and all 2 can eat or drink from the concession stand all night, for only $150. To purchase the Champion’s Table, you must call the office directly at (215) 781-2500. All other tickets are available to purchase at http://www.rohwrestling.com/store.php?sec=cat&cat=30.

A GBHIX rematch against the Kings or a fresh match against The Briscoes, either should be awesome!

Watched the final ending, which was pretty damn good thanks in part to Wade Barrett. He's just so good carrying people on the mic. Cena needs to stop making constipated faces, though. John, if you're going to call out Percy Watson for looking ridiculous, don't do the same thing.

According to a new report by F4WOnline.com, WWE is said to be very high on both Kaitlyn and Naomi of NXT Season 3.

Management is said to be very high on Kaitlyn as a result of both her recent match against Vickie Guerrero and her look. As far as Naomi goes, it's being said that WWE management recognizes her as the most athletic of the group, and the rookie Diva with the most potential in the ring.

WWE apparently has big plans for both these rookie Divas after the current season of NXT is over.

It's still early but I'd love them to put the belt on Barrett at BR, just imagine the pop in Manchester on 8th November Raw.

We are mainly smarks in England and Barrett is from just down the road so he's getting pops either way so may as well capitalise

I wouldn't be surprised if Barrett gets the belt at BR and then drops it fairly quickly to Miz. It just seems like WWE wants to give Miz the title, but they just don't want him to beat anyone with credibility. Which, of course, makes Barrett the perfect candidate! :lol

Oh man i hope he does, i'm gonna be there and it will be amazing to hear the pop.

Yesss! That headbutt was amazing... and not surprised those two have really been the most impressive so far. Though hopefully AJ won't get left in the dust.

I still say the Miz will be the first one to lose when he cashes in MitB. He's not main event material. His in-ring work is sloppy, but he's great on the mic. He'd be a better manager than anything else.

The main Event for over here in November on RAW is Randy Orton vs Sheamus vs John Cena for the WWE Championship. So Barett wins and gets Cena to defend his title?
