Hardy pretty much confirmed he is going to TNA now on twitter. A fan asked him

"@MATTHARDYBRAND apart from Jeff who do you look forward to most working with in TNA"

and Matt responded

"@Vodo316 Several people, they have a very talented roster."

Because his name is not shouted at every RAW show. Last week was the only time I remember of their being a huge chant for him. For Bryan its the chicken and the egg scenario. Cole needs to make fun of Bryan for the crowd to will him on to allow for more heel Cole to belittle the guy, etc.

Why does Cole even need to fight with the guy? What is the point? Cole isn't a wrestler and they aren't building to a match. Cole just needs to say he was wrong and that he respects the guy then call his matches down the middle like he does for everyone else or go full heel and not just be heel against him and Edge.

It's the WWE, they do useless angles all the time.

If they didn't do this, we'd all just be complaining about how they forgot about the really volatile Bryan/Cole feud.

Why do you want wrestling to be so boring, and why do you take every kayfabe heel comment as the universal truth that every fan accepts? It's like we all know Cole's heeling it up except you.

So Cole belittles Bryan. He's being a heel, man. Just because he's being a heel against certain people such as Edge, R-Truth, NXT3, Danielson, etc doesn't change that fact that he is. It's his thing now.

Oh I know he is heeling it up only with certain people. That isn't the problem I have. How is calling the guy a nerd, a dweeb, belittling his physique and then that guy losing actually help get him over though? Just curious how this is supposed to help the guy.

It's supposed to make you want Bryan to win to shut Cole the hell up. Most of the audience hates Cole's guts as shown whenever he gets on the mic. Seeing Bryan win and shut up Cole and his lover The Miz should get him over. I really think you're overestimating the effect Cole has on the viewers if you think him insulting Bryan makes anybody think less of him.

He has beaten the Miz in every match they have had together. That's the only feud he's ever had and he's unquestionably on top.

Are you seriously upset because a rookie lost twice to the former World Champion?

The booking team makes dumb mistakes that kill momentum sometimes, but that's because the company sucks and we all know it and complain about it all the time. But Bryan is actually an example of being generally well-treated, pushed hard, and usually shown being a badass despite being a rookie.

Yeh, I've gotta agree, the complaints bout Bryan are misplaced, he's already got a title, appeared in main events and stole the show at PPVs, that isn't the sign of a wrestler that's getting buried.

He was the story at Summerslam and that was his first appearance at a PPV, the next PPV he won the US title from the Miz and the PPV after that he defended in the best match of the night. Lets be realistic here, how could they give him a bigger legitimate push? He's not ready to be in the WWE title scene and you ahve guys like Morrison and Miz that are clearly talented and been with the company years that still haven't reached that level yet.

I'll agree that they're fucking up with Kaval atm, but we'll see where that goes, there's plenty time yet you just have to look at where the two real stars of Season 1 are. Bryan has had a great push and Wade is being pushed to the moon and grasping the opportunity with both hands. If Kaval is still being buried in 3 months, then we'll talk.

How is the guy over? There is silence when he comes out. He barely got a chant in his home town. He hardly gets tv time. He has no feud going on right now.

Huh? That's completely untrue. He lost the match on Raw when he challenged the Miz during NXT. He was pinned by the Miz on the Raw immediately before their US title match. As far as I know, the ONLY times he has beaten the Miz have been in the two PPV US Championship matches.

However, their feud seems to be over, and Bryan came out winning the blowoff match and retaining the strap, so he did definitely win the feud in the end.
 
Who cares if Daniel Bryan is getting silent reactions? He basically only been on the main roster since mid August. Nexus was getting silent reactions for a while.

The match on raw where Bryan threw the miz at cole he won that and the two ppv matches that's the only matches he has won.

It would be sweet if they slot him in as the final member of Team Raw. Henry might not be back in time due to his brother's illness and all.
 
Results from last nights ROH show in Chicago;

1.)Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole vs. The All Night Express is the opener. Titus and King win when Titus pins O'Reilly after a neckbreaker to the knee. Fun opener.

2.)Andy Ridge vs. Ricky Reyes is up now. Reyes wins via powerbomb suplex combo. Reyes mocks Ridge who responds with a superkick.

3.)Lady Jo-Jo and Neveah vs. Daizee Haze and Craft is up now. Neveah over Craft via small package.

4.)Kevin Steen vs. Homicide is up now. Homicide wins via super ace crusher. Great brawl with weapons and blood. Postmatch Cide puts down TNA and puts over ROH. Steen attacks Cide and they have a pull-apart brawl.

Intermission

5.)The Metal Master vs. Mike Mondo opens the 2nd half. Metal Master wins via crossface.

6.)Kings Of Wrestling vs. Briscoes is up now. Hero eliminates Mark via loaded elbow pad on a Briscoe Doomsday Device attempt. Jay Briscoe pinned Claudio to eliminate him and then when Hero tried to use the elbow pad Jay defeated Hero with a backslide.

7.)Colt Cabana vs. Steve Corino I-Quit Match is up now. Colt wins in a brutal match. Steen got out of the straightjacket and helped Corino until the locker room got him to the back. Cabana digs a piece of the table in Corino's head for the win.

8.)Christopher Daniels vs. Davey Richards is up now.Davey wins in 28:45 via an ankle lock counter to the Best Moonsault Ever. Awesome match and they shake hands.Daniels puts over Davey and thanks him for giving 100 percent. Davey asks Daniels for a 2nd match down the line.

Sounds like a good show, really interested in seeing that Colt/Corino bloodbath, and the main event sounds fantastic - Davey counters Daniels' BME with an ankle lock? Awesome.

Also, the return date for Chicago Ridge is February 26, 2011 and it's going to be an Internet-PPV.

So if someone asked me on twitter who I looked forward to working with in TNA, and I replied with 'Daffney's labia', would that pretty much confirm that I'm going to TNA, that I'm gonna bone Daffney, or both?

And for all we know, Matt probably has like 12 twitter accounts so he can speak to himself.

Squash matches are boring. I don't care if Cena is in the ring with Eli Cottonwood, I want it to at least look competitive. Storylines and promos couldn't interest me less so the fake fights are all I watch wrestling for. And when I only get 15 minutes of a 2 hour show dedicated to the part I enjoy, I don't want to watch guy_01 knee guy_02 in the head for 30 seconds regardless of who those 2 guys are.

I agree that I don't care what Bryan's win:loss ratio is. It is unnecessary to have anybody get smashed into the ground without landing a single punch*.

* - unless it is 1993 and your name is Mikey Whipwreck.

I wish they'd bring squash matches back. Personally, I got more hyped for a feud with the format of the jobber era. Gave the commentators time to sell the storyline and also make the star look strong physically (or sneaky, or whatever his shtick was), and it made it more exciting when Guy A finally got his hands on Guy B. A good example is that Macho/Jake Roberts feud. They let that build and build and teased it and then the place exploded when they finally met up. It wasn't like how it is now where there's a PPV that's like 3 weeks away, so they build excitement by giving the match away for free 3 times on RAW, but have BS finishes or have some gigantic tag match or whatever.

If I wanted to watch two guys go superhuman on each other and no-sell each other's moves endlessly, I'd go watch Bleach.
 
That's ironic because in my group of friends that like anime and wrestling, we refer to Ichigo as the John Cena of Bleach.

Jobber matches are always going to exist. Hate it or love it, that type of match will always exist to prove/display the strength of the wrestler that is not jobbing. I myself don't really care about them. I usually just change the channel when I recognize an obvious one -- like when a walking CAW is fighting against a wrestler on the roster. You can't expect Daniel to be treated on screen as a super-man, he's going to win and he'll lose too. He'll look strong against certain ones and maybe he won't on different occaisons. I honestly can't believe the Daniel Bryan fiasco is still being talked about. :lol I can't wait to see how you guys will take it tomorrow if Bryan gets destroyed by Sheamus 3x in a row.

It is just ridiculous to have Bryan, the us champion lose like that. He shouldn't even be put in situations like that. Sheamus can go squash any number of wrestlers on the roster who don't mean anything. Sheamus doesn't gain anything by beating Bryan, but if he were to lose to Bryan, Bryan would gain alot and Sheamus would still lose none of his heat.

I think Sheamus would come off as stronger against the midcard champion rather than squash say Santino/Chris Masters/etc.

Then again, what do the belts even mean at this point?

Why does Sheamus need to look stronger? He is already established as a main eventer and gets a ton of heat. Beating Daniel Bryan, who is established as a midcarder by holding a midcard belt, does nothing for him. However if Bryan beat Sheamus, it would have elevated the belt and Bryan.

This Bryan/Sheamus situation is one of the reasons WHY the belts mean nothing at this point.

Why does anyone in WWE/TNA need to look stronger? He was already established, you're right. But that's what champions/strongmen do -- they squash people. Plus, seeing the reactions of you guys, Sheamus completed his job as a heel in getting such a reaction from not only the audience attending that night, but to have bent many around here out of shape for atleast over a week after it happened.

Daniel Bryan taking down the champion could also elevate him further, that's true too. As said before, Bryan had and will still have chances in WWE. WWE does know he can do things not many in the roster can do. The "burial" at the hands of Sheamus won't affect Bryan at all. Bryan, in the WWE, is playing the role of the "rookie" underdog nerd, from his mannerisms to his theme song. I know it's hard for a lot but just wait. Unless Danielson fucks up backstage, he has a bright future ahead of him. Everyone starts out somewhere -- even HHH wasn't treated as Vince's lapdog when he debuted and if I'm not mistaken, he jobbed to the Ultimate Warrior early in his career...
 
I think Sheamus constantly squashing a supposed United States champion pisses them now not simply because he's liked by those online, but how poor booking it is. But this isn't anything new to WWE, let's not let them change and continue getting 2.9 in ratings.

HHH actually took the brunt of the heat resulting from Shawn Michaels' and the rest of the Kliq's shenanigans :lol

HHH jobbed non-stop for the better part of a year after the Kliq broke kayfabe at MSG. Losing hog pen matches to Henry Godwinn and feuds to Savio Vega and the like. The 'Mania match he lost to Warrior was effectively a squash.

Hell even John Cena was not a superman/strongman type character when he debuted.

The Miz is another good example of a not so stellar beginnings. Damn, looking back, Miz was corny as hell. :lol
