...wtf :lol :lol

It's been super amateurish so far, although the commentators mic's did cut back in about 5 minutes into the match. Also, the arena they're running out of fucking sucks, I doubt there's 200 people in there. Comparatively, ROH's first iPPV was at a packed out Manhattan Center in front of a rabid NYC crowd.

Aries vs Yoshino has been great so far though.

Yoshino wins after hitting the Lightning Spiral, followed by the Torbellino and then the Sol Nolciente to make Aries tap - not a bad match by any stretch of the imagination, just never really got going and didn't meet the dream match status DGUSA hyped.

Backstage promo's are working now though - Moxley vs Jacobs in the I Quit match is up now, starts off hot with Jacobs faking his entrance and diving on Moxley from the balcony.

*edit, that didn't take long - Jacobs is pissing blood from his forehead after Moxley hits him with the railroad spike.

Moxley hand-cuffs Jacobs, goes to hit him with the chair, but Jacobs counters and managed to hit the End Time (Guillotine Choke) while handcuffed! Awesome spot - Jacobs is still bleeding profusely and now Mox is just going to town on Jacobs forehead with that railway spike. Great match so far, but goddamn does this puny crowd suck.

*edit, Moxley says I Quit after Jacobs repeatedly spikes him in the groin. Jacobs is a bloody mess, says this is the last time you'll see him bleeding buckets and jumping off balconies, he's going back to wrestling and wants to win the Open the Freedom Gate title. Incidentally, I hate Dragon Gate's Engrish belt names :lol

why is mcyntyre wearing confederate flags while beating up a black man?

does vince even try to hide it anymore?

I did not even notice that. I demand my reparations.

:lol @ the end of the I Quit match. Ouch.

The show's at intermission now, but the last thing you heard the commentary team say after presumably thinking their mic's were off; "Is he mad?", "Yeah, Gabe's mad" :lol

Plus, one of the commentators at one point exclaimed that you wouldn't expect to see a submission move in an I Quit match? WTF? Also, he repeatedly referred to blood as 'life giving fluid' :lol

...holy shit. That looks nasty. LOL @ "life giving fluid". Sounds so wrong.

And did Tony Chimel's voice just crack while saying "RATED R SUPERSTAR"? :lol

Tony Chimel's voice always cracks when he says that.

Brodie Lee & sumo legend Akebono vs The Osirian Portal just finished - fun way to re-start after intermission, Brodie & Akebono no-selling everything from the much smaller Portal, but Akebono does sell Ophidian's snake charming shtick. Awesome spot where Ophidian did a suicide dive onto Brodie on the outside, only for Brodie to catch him and throw him right back into the ring - Akebono & Lee pick up the win fairly quickly, but tensions flare post match and they have to be separated.

Oh god, Homicide promo now :lol I need subtitles.

@Lebron, yeah, not bad so far, a little lacklustre outside of the I Quit match (although I'm sure the opening match was awesome) - things are sure to pick up during the last 2 matches though.

Horiguchi & CIMA vs YAMATO & Tozawa was AWESOME - started a bit slow, but soon turned into the usual crazy tag-team sprint fans have come to expect from Dragon Gate. Too many spots to call in the end, but YAMATO picked up the win with his Galleria finisher. Johnny Gargano's out post-match, begging CIMA to let him into Warriors-1, but when CIMA picks up the mic Gargano pearl harbours him and Rich Swann and Chuck Taylor hit the ring and say they're forming a new stable called 'Ronin'. Brodie Lee comes down to make the save, and CIMA announces the big trucker as the newest member of Warriors-1.

Damn, Jimmy. Damn.

*edit, BxB Hulk vs SHINGO in the main event was EPIC, probably not as good as the hair vs hair match from early in the year, but still a great match with an awesome finishing stretch. SHINGO hit a sick deadlift variation of the Made in Japan, but BxB managed to somehow kick out and turn things back in his favour, eventually picking up the win and retaining his title.

Overall it was a good show, but not one of DGUSA's best and it failed to capture that 'big event feel' that they were going for, and conversely all the other ROH iPPV's have had - well worth the asking price though, despite technical difficulties screwing up the opener, Jacobs vs Moxley, the Dragon Gate tag match and the main event were all awesome, awesome matches.

How does that happen? Seems too over-the-top and I'd never watch something like that.

A head cut, during a match, after a person has put in a lot of effort, means a cut that will flow a lot. Mix that with sweat, and even more effort after the cut is now open, and you have something that will look bad.

I have no idea about the story behind this cut, or if it was him bladeing, but I guess the cut itself it not huge, but mix in excretion, sweat and everything else that happens during a fast paced match, and it looks like murder scene.

Holy shit @ Alberto punking Kane and Paul Bearer

he is truly the esencia de la excelencia and a gran hombre

;D

WWE Re-signs Sean Morley?

According to independent promoters who have attempted to book him, Sean Morley is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment. The company is supposedly flying Morley to Europe on November 7 to join up with the Raw crew.

His role pending his return is not clear. He may be coming back in an off-camera role as a producer (road agent). There is also speculation that if Linda McMahon loses to Richard Blumenthal in the Connecticut Senatorial election on November 2, Vince McMahon may have Morley head up a reprisal of the Right to Censor angle, this time inspired by the Democratic party instead of the Parents Television Council.

Morley signed with the WWF in 1998 and had a long run in WWF/WWE, mostly as Val Venis. After 11 years in the company, WWE.Com announced Morley was released from his contract on January 9, 2009. Upon his release, he returned to CMLL in Mexico, where he was originally discovered by the WWF. He also did tours with New Japan Pro Wrestling and also participated in Hulk Hogan's Hulkamania tour of Australia.

He signed with TNA and made a surprise debut on the live, Monday night edition of Impact on January 4, 2010. He wrestled under his real name but continued to use the porn gimmick. In an effort to not infringe the WWE copyright, he made it clear he was now an adult film "producer". He didn't last long in the company because with TNA's move to Monday nights, his plan to work both TNA and CMLL couldn't happen, so he quit TNA on March 5, 2010.

It would be sweet if they slot him [Ezekiel Jackson] in as the final member of Team Raw. Henry might not be back in time due to his brother's illness and all.

You know what? I would absolutely love for Matt Morgan to leave Fortune and become one of the "good guys" and there are many ways it can be done well to elevate him into the main event scene.
I feel like a rich kid, getting what I want.

Knucklehead-Movie-Poster.jpg

WWE Studios’ Knucklehead drew virtually no business during its ‘limited engagement’ this past weekend.

A chart listing the top grossing films, with the bottom movie making $75, did not rank the WWE produced film. Even further, numerous websites that feature histories of all theatrically released movies and how much business they did – including last weekend – don’t have it listed.

The film was only scheduled for last weekend in select theaters – a total of six. It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on Nov. 9.

:lol

So wait, it didn't even make $75? I know WWE films make most of their money on DVD (where they are surprisingly profitable), but DAMN.

Awesome news.... and now for some more upcoming bombs...

That's What I Am (2011) - starring Randy Orton
Inside Out (2011) - starring Triple H
The Chaperone (2011) - starring Triple H
Bending the Rules (2011) - starring Edge
Blood Brothers (2012) - starring John Cena

They should really pull the plug, like right now. Between Linda and this they seem to be bleeding money at a Ric Flair rate.

Sad thing is, they will probably cut some good talent to balance the books :/

That was years back. DVD sales are down across the board for many years now, so that is not even saving them.

Legendary and The Marine 2 didn't even chart in the Top 30 DVD sales. That means both didn't even crack at least 20-30K sold in it's first week.

To be fair, Legendary was only sold at Wal-Mart. The same will be said for Knucklehead. But both look like dog shit movies. The Marine 2 wasn't too bad for a professional wrestling film.

Well if they didn't insist on putting WWE wrestlers in lead roles and gave these movies decent budgets they would probably do much better. Put a product out that people perceive as a joke and people are not gonna spend money to go see it, especially with ticket prices going up and up.

I think it's a big problem for WWE when its bigger commercial star (John Cena) couldn't turn a profit with his latest film.

That means those films above will likely do the same if not worse (I can't see many people going out of there way to see a film starring Edge or Randy Orton).

Honestly, I never would have thought that "See No Evil" would be the most profitable thing they made.

Lionsgate made a name for itself and a shit ton of profit releasing nothing but low budget horror movies. People will go see shitty horror movies no matter what if they get a wide release.

That's what happens when you aren't The Rock.

Funny enough, one of my new friends here is part Samoan and I made a joke about how he's probably related to the Rock to which he goes, yeah, he's actually like my 3rd cousin or something but I've never met him. Man, that's a big ass family :lol

The following are potentials for WWE-produced DVDs in 2011:

  • The Best of WCW Monday Nitro
  • The History of D-Generation X
  • The History of the United States Title
  • Randy Orton
  • Jerry Lawler
  • Goldust
  • The Big Show
  • Greg "The Hammer" Valentine
