I too am off to see Wilco!
I've heard they put on a good show with nice long sets. I'm personally worried about the sound at the Metropolis... and the heat!

I saw Wilco over Memorial Day Weekend, they were fantastic, even though they were slowly becoming a jam band.

I saw the White Stripes there a year ago. It kicked ass. The sound was ok.

Fuck, that was just awesome. Really one of the best shows I've seen. Sound was awesome, setlist was great although I'd have liked em to play Kamera and Reservations.

That was the best concert I've ever been to. Their set was sooo long, the crowd was pumped, Tweedy was cracking remarks every chance he got once he remembered to start talking, everything was awesome!
When they played Theologians my heart skipped a beat. When they played Heavy Metal Drummer, it skipped another. When they played Jesus etc., I almost died.

My favorite band, you guys are lucky. They aren't coming close enough to me this summer, but they are awesome live. I saw them last June at Irving Plaza (one of the frist AGIB tour shows) and it was hands down the best live performance I've been too.

My Morning Jacket puts on an awesome show, too. I saw them right after they lost 2 bandmembers, and you wouldn't have known that the rhythm section had only been part of the band for like ~2 weeks. MMJ jammed out nicely, too -- I kind of expect that knowing their musical geneology. I still like MMJ even though they've been tainted by association with the talentless Dave Matthews, whom I still irrationally blame for It Still Moves being paint-by-numbers, blue-ballsy, and anti-climactic.

The My Morning Jacket concert I went to was great. Jim James has an amazing voice and they have a good mix of loud and soft songs. The Sonic Youth concert I went to was tainted by the "couple" dry humping against me that I couldn't escape from.

When I saw Radiohead I think there were two dudes next to me snorting crack or something... they didn't bother me though, since they didn't wanna make themselves look that noticable.

Well, it wasn't really a couple. It was a girl who was mostly being dry-humped by a guy she had obviously just met and (every once in a while) was dry-humped by this other guy near them (I think he ended up going home with her as they walked past me outside the venue).
I considered copping a feel (why not, right? her ass was rubbing on my hand at times as I was slowly squeezed into the people standing behind me) but I couldn't do it. It was just wrong.

I think it creeped out one of the band members too as he stared in my direction a lot and after a while moved over until he was playing behind the speakers where he couldn't see anything.

Not really, but it was dark and I felt entitled after enduring that shit for so long.
I don't know the band very well. He played a guitar and wasn't Thurston Moore.

Yeah, it was Lee. I think I remember Kim looking a little disgusted but she couldn't leave the stage.

I was a little distracted so I'm not the best person to ask. It kind of ruined the entire middle of the concert for me.
edit: Actually, Kim looked decent at that show (probably the lighting). Of course I do lean a little toward practically anorexic women, for some reason. I'm currently fixated on PJ Harvey. *shrugs*

Considering her age, I mean, she's not bad. I'm not saying she's HOT, I'm just talking about her physical appearance. Most women her age TRULY look disgusting. Now if you mean she has all of the sudden become very underweight, that's horrible. But when I saw them on Letterman (or was it Leno) earlier this year, she looked fine.
