Starsky & Hutch (one of the coolest 2 player games. one player shoots with a lightgun, the other drives the car -> very fun)

Lord of the Rings: The third Age (you can play coop)

Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy (coop, one player shoots, the other steers the character)

Not only does it feature a two-player mode, the whole game is made specifically for two players (ie you can't play it alone).

I had initial D and its single player as well

Just gotten psyvariar 2. Its 2 players as well like strikers 1942

I just took a guess with Initial D, I don't own the game. I know Ridge Racer V has a 2P mode and figuring you could play 2P in the arcade, I just listed it as an example of the genre.

Contra: Shattered Soldier at the moment. That game just kicks dog titties.

A pure and only multiplayer game that you should own if you aren't a graphics whore is Mashed. Pure gameplay and mad funny with a couple of friends.

Steering wheel + two lightguns. Awesome. The cabinet I played it on also had the most amazing award system seen in these parts: you got a certain number of carnival-style tickets based on your score, which you could exchange for pointless items at the counter. Rad!
