I predict that Kevin Garnett will be the tallest person at the Lottery Draft.

I will take that bet!

Also, Lakers as no lower than 5 seed. If they go any higher it will be up to Lamar, not sure if he has the desire to become a superstar, we will see if Phill can change that. Lakers will become one of the better defensive teams and will finally start running. Weakness is going to be no bench and rebounding, but no one is going to want to play us in the playoffs.

Kobe will shoot 48% for the season, averaging 28 points, 6 boards, and 7 assists a game.

Loki will renounce his ties to Jordan and will make Konex blush with his newfound love for Kobe.

I am taking any bet. Avatar, ban, tag, you name it! All the Lakers needed was a good coach and Phil will transform this team almost overnight.

lakers shit, phil is the saviour

I won't take the bet, as I'm not a bettin' man--but I sincerely doubt that Phil Jackson can do all that much with the team as-is. With chemistry and talent that rival the Cleveland Cavaliers*, a good coach can't do that much with a bad team.

I don't bail out on bets!

Btw, what was our bet again?

Its a best of 3 series!

T-Mac vs. Kobe

1. FG%

2. Points per game

3. Overall team record (tiebreaker = season series)

You go down this season!

Bring it!

I will have Konex whip up the most humiliating Kobe avatar ever!

I'm really looking forward to this draft. Hopefully the Raptors get Granger at the 7 spot and a PG at 16. Most likely Roko Ukic. Of course my ideal situation would be to trade up and get Chris Paul :D :lol

Alright! It's on! Just to warn you, Jordan taught me how to bet

:lol

You mean the same Jordan who got hustled out of millions on the golf course?

The only worse source on betting would be Konex.

Fuck the Spurs. Fuck the Lakers. Eh....kinda fuck the Pistons.

The 2006 NBA Finals Champions Miami Heat will be ready to get all up in that ass again next season. Look out! :D PEACE.

I bet this upcoming season Charlotte will challenge for the 8th spot in the playoffs ! If I'm wrong, I'll wear a Kobe avatar handpicked by a Fakers fan for a month! (of course, I won't be wrong).

edit: Here are my lottery picks:

1. Milwaukee - Andrew Bogut
2. Atlanta - Marvin Williams
3. Portland - Gerald Green (will be inlcuded in draft day trade)
4. New Orleans - Deron Williams
5. Charlotte - Chris Paul
6. Utah - Raymond Felton
7. Toronto - Danny Granger
8. New York - Channing Frye
9. Golden State - Joey Graham
10. Los Angeles Lakers - Andrew Bynum (will be included in draft day trade)
11. Orlando Magic - Antoine Wright
12. Los Angeles Clippers - Yaroslav Korolev*
13. Charlotte - Charlie Villanueva**
14. Minnesota - Martell Webster

Draft day trade:
Portland trades the rights to Gerald Green and Ruben Patterson to the Lakers for the rights to Andrew Bynum, Caron Butler and Chucky Atkins

*Clippers have reportedly promised to take Korolev with the 12th pick
**Bobcats have reportedly promised to take Villanueva with the 13th pick

if you are trying to push naked Kobe on me, you'll be getting an animated gif of Tom Brady and Michael Jordan taking turns on Magic Johnson bent over!

You have to win the bet for that happen.

BTW, thanks for the extra lotto pick.

worst. trade. ever.

If the Cavs don't get Joe Johnson or something, Lebron is gone.

Also, let me just say this about Andrew Bogut: in his scouting report, it says that he had a difficult time adjusting to the athleticism in the college game, especially on the defensive end.

Wow, from what my sources indicate, the Sonics are going to lower(Pardon the pun...)the boom on the NBA during the offseason.

Lots of big men are itching to play with Ray Allen, Luke Ridnour, and Rashard Lewis. With that, I shall therefore make my first prediction on the distant NBA season: 57 Sonics wins.

You all may now continue to debate who your lottery team will pick up in the draft. :lol :lol

If the Lakers trade up for Green as rumored, WHO THE HELL WILL PLAY THE POINT?!?!

Just take Felton, please >_<

Bryant_Kobe.jpg

GM Kobe: Kobe, who's gonna play the point?

Captain Kobe: What do ya mean Kobe, I'm gonna play the point! No prob man.

GM Kobe: You know what...I like your style!

Lakers are going to win by defense and they will score by movement without the ball on offense. They just need someone to bring the ball up. The Lakers didn't lose because of Atkins, they lost because they didn't have anything remotely close to a gameplan and they didn't even try to play defense. Rudy was horrible, I think I am even more in awe of Hakeem for winning with that guy. Thankfully Phil will set things back in order next year.

Hey, if Charlotte does come close to the 8th seed in the East (let's set it at actually making it as the 8th seed or being 5 games out), then I'll make some Tom Brady/Michael Jordan avatar for you to wear (and seeing as you're going to lose a lot of bets, you might as well sign yourself up for about half a year of Tom Brady/Michael Jordan :P)!

You on?

Bob Ryan is reporting that Paul Pierce doesn't want to wait for Al Jefferson to get better, that he wants to win now and that Danny Ainge will oblige him by trading him if he can get a good enough offer.

I am going to win all of these bets as the Lakers will have a historic rebound.

That Charlotte bet just doesn't have any appeal to me unless the Lakers are involved. How about we make a bet about which team finishes better? If I lose I have to wear some disgusting Jordan or Brady avatar for whatever time we agree on and if I win I will find something equally humiliating for you.*

*Technically that is impossible because nothing is as disgusting, humiliating, or evil as a combination Jordan/Brady avatar, but I will find the next best thing!

NEW YORK (AP) -- San Antonio's Game 7 win over Detroit was the highest-rated of the NBA Finals, though the average for the series was down 29 percent from last year.

ABC got an 11.9 rating with a 22 share for the Spurs' title-clinching win Thursday night. It was the highest-rated show on television for the evening and was the second-highest rated clinching game since 2000.

Over the seven games, the network averaged an 8.2 with a 15 share. Last year's finals between the Pistons and the Los Angeles Lakers averaged an 11.5 rating with a 20 share, including 13.8 with a 23 share for Detroit's series-ending win in Game 5. Last year's series was the highest-rated NBA Finals since 2001, 77 percent higher than the previous year (6.5) and 13 percent better than 2002 (10.2).

Get ready for Yao vs. Shaq in 2006! Make it happen, Stern!

Fine, we'll do that. If Charlotte finishes with the same record though, I still win because no would think Charlotte and LA would be anywhere near each other :P

An online MBA? From the University of Phoenix? Are you freakin' kidding me? :lol

Hell...I'm doing mine at UofM cos for regular folk, an MBA from a non-big name school is a waste of your time and -- employer's (if you're lucky) -- money :lol

He earned it over the net. Someone like Shaq probably got his fans or better yet Stan Van Gundy to do his homework for him.

Yeah, thats true...oh yeah, what college did Kobe graduate from? What college did his wife graduate from?

That family is just Cops white trash with NBA money :P

Who the fuck cares about ABC's ratings? This Finals shattered ratings all around the world. Stern was quite happy with the international exposure from what I understand. American fans are just too dumb to appreciate quality basketball and the best Finals in what seems like forever, unlike the rest of the world.

Click here to listen to MC Parker during the Spurs celebration.

saw part of that on sportscenter :lol

let the man do what he wants....he prolly got so much post-championship action with Eva he lost the ability to think
