A result that's been inevitable since July...congrats to Alonso, he deserves it. On the flipside McLaren's won five of the last six races and are now two points ahead of Renault in the constructors championship, with two races to go. As long as the cars are able to keep running, the silver and black should be able to take that one home...they're just too quick. And Montoya's about as fast as Kimi is now, repeating the 1-2 result from the Brazilian GP a year ago.
Kudos to Michael finished in a pretty solid fourth place...best race he's had in a long time. Once the prancing horse gets back on their game, we could see the most competitive F1 picture in a long time next season, with four strong outfits in Ferrari, Renault, McLaren and BAR Honda. Damn good driving lineups too, though McLaren's defintely got the dream pairing.
