You're going to want to put those into "quote" tags in your post. Otherwise, the parser may interpret them as hardware guesses.

I thought the parser only includes anything that proceeds right after [hardware name here]?

It will. The NPD reporting period ended on the 7th, and Sigma shipped on the 3rd.

Cheesemeister would be the definitive person to answer, but last month he was expanding what the parser accepted in order to get everyone into the prediction pool. This made someone's software prediction show up as a hardware prediction. He then said to put software predictions in "quote" tags to prevent that from happening.

Posts like this don't conform to the parser format, and will get you included in the List of Shame, even if the guesses might be read in. Of course, the PSP guess will be read as 700 million because of the letter K in Wookie.

If I don't turn off handling for non-conforming posts, posts like this will have their HW numbers screwed up. Wii would go from 358k to 243k to 213k to 184k to 137k to 103k, and so on. The better solution would be to have everyone conform.

Oops. Um, limit guesses to 10 million or less? However, then we're getting into modifying individual guesses. :/ If the parser goes 3 characters without another number or 'k', stop parsing that line? It would still have issues if the line started with 'k,' though.

A better fix: only picking up the letter K if immediately following numbers. No spaces, no nothing.

I thought there was someone who predicted with a space between the number and the 'k.' That solution would be fine for me, though. Also, I just noticed that your example valid format had a problem.
