If I was the Ratings czar I would do all real ratings first and then use awareness to tune the overall for primarily user controlled players. I'd have to think about what it did per position to do non-user controlled dudes.
I think the formula overvalues arm strength somewhat and overvalues speed.

Nah I just picked guys, I wanted to see with a cross sample of abilities (athletes, big arms, accurate guys with noodles, and elite NFL qbs)
My connected career (post upgrades) Luck goes up to an 85.2, but if he had Peyton Manning's 99 AWR, he'd be a 101.2 Normalized Rating
I am playing Story sometime tomorrow (Friday).
Is awareness good for user controlled players then?
No. The main point of this lesson is that the OVR rating of a player is weighted pretty much most heavily by AWR (and its weighted higher and lower for some positions).

Not yet, I've been playing the beta for months though and it seems awesome. I'm kind of done with betas though so I've probably only put a couple hours total into it, just to see the changes as it came along. I am a big Soldak fan and I'm sure this is dope. I'll be buying it when I get home. Co-op!

So you can change aiming sensitivity without pausing, MEGATON. That's great except sensitivity is one of those 'set it and forget it' settings.
Too bad there are only 7 other people to play multiplayer with.
