Official Madden 13 Xbox 360 Online Franchise Thread:Stat padding? Never heard of him.

A couple fun stats.

Chris Johnson and his 93 carry rating leads the league with 8 fumbles.

Michael Roos, my highest rated OLineman, has given up a team high 10 sacks.

-_-

A game where offensive awareness means something!

awareness means stuff in madden, it just differs from position to position and it weighs differently.

Except for QB. Obviously. I mean, who would ever put awareness on their QB!?

I need to get on your level. I'm ashamed of myself.

With Sanjurobro gone, we now have like five/six left: Me, Pheen, Crow, Nightz, DCX, Denogg... does Bobby still have it? Eznark? AT? etc

I sold NHL a few weeks ago. Got a pretty nice price for it and couldn't say no.

No regrets though, definitely had more fun with hockey bros in the short time I had it than most games.

There is a benefit to putting AWR into your QB in Madden, even user controlled. I'd put bumps into many other stats first, but if all of these are OK, then going into AWR can help with completions.

I really wanna know the difference between shit like medium accuracy 88 and 85. Will it really matter that much

Everybody who plays me likes putting like 16 guys in the box :(

8? Damn.

Patrick Cooper has zero. Which leads RBs with at least 80 carries. I think he has 120+

I assumed AWR in quarterbacks is what makes certain QBs throw it away instead of throwing a pick when you shouldn't have thrown it to that covered receiver but did.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
Where is the evidence to back this

I've read people claim that higher awr affects how much your controller rumbles when pressure is near, that sounds neat/useful but not sure I buy it. I'd trust blue if he looked into that with his created player experiments.

Would you be able to do like 5:30 levious? Had something come up that I won't be able to get out of and it starts at 7pm est.

or now since you just posted :p

Sorry bud, I'm still at work, wanna try early morning?

ding ding ding. that and hot/cold streaks. pair a high AWR QB and high AWR receiver and you're pretty much golden.

Like Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin?

I'm completing 77% of my passes this year with Luck, my picks are all my own fault bad throws or risky throws against 2 man under.

His AWR? 59

His SAC 98, his MAC 98.

Either I am the best ever at overcoming low awareness or AWR is pointless on QB.

98 already? So much cheese.

I'll have Meyers hitting the mid to upper 80s on all stats by the end of this season. He'll be over 90 next season, but it'll be awhile to hit 95. Which is my goal. 95 for SAC, MAC, and DAC. He already had good SAC and MAC ratings, but DAC was a bit weak. Been my focus this season. He started at 74 DAC. I think he's 84 now. I'll cap that at 85 and work on other stats this season.

It's why it's not the first stat I'd upgrade.

SAC, MAC, and DAC come first.

Edit: Why does Luck only have 59 AWR? He is supposed to be one of the smartest college QBs to come to the NFL in a long time. Dat Donnie.

Did you not read my adjusted QB rankings post last weekend, where I recalculated every major QB in the game with 50 AWR to prove my point that AWR on the QB was just the ratings adjustment.

My problem with Madden's attributes is that they don't seem to mean much, let alone explain what they do in the first place. NHL's gives full in-depth explanations from the main help screen. It'll tell you what each attribute does, how the attributes affect your player when you dump more into them, and that the awareness affects everything! I wish Madden's at least had something like that, as well as a good system. I mean, you have McCoy on your team whose carrying is amazing... yet he fumbles it occasionally... [what?] Or my corners whose man-to-man and press coverage is very good, yet they can't cover a fucking comeback route. It seems that the stats don't do much aside form raising your players overall.

Kenny Timm is one of the leading receivers in the NFL and his awareness is like 24.

I'm guessing that Maurice Leopard isn't much higher than Timm in that department and he's putting up beast numbers too.

Luck has low awareness because if he had high awareness he'd be rated overall a lot higher. Its how they keep the rookie attributes low at a glance.

Further proof that for our purposes, awareness means nothing for QB's.

Your info doesn't get rid of my theory. If it just prevents bad throws, it only helps bad players not throw ints. If you aren't making bad throws to begin with AWR isn't going to affect you. The two times you weren't making a completion went straight to my DBs, I don't think Brady or Manning throw that Lisi pick. I bet they throw it away like QBs "randomly" do.

Play with Brady, the AI automatically throws it away sometimes. I'm convinced. Or maybe throws it to where only the receiver can make a play more, he doesn't throw to DBs like others would.
