Whenever I used ballhawk in the first half my guys just stopped moving. You got two touchdowns from it hahaha. And the 2 point conversion that I had completely covered!

i didn't use ballhawk against mcneily and still got 3 or 4 picks and gave up less than 100 yards of offense

Two of your five INTs I got from ballhawking. Both of them were on those long deep bombs you threw where I had a chance to get in position. Those other three INTs were my CPU.
And then there were those three plays I was talking about where I tried to ballhawk, but instead my guy just stood still and you got two touchdowns and a 2 point conversion because of it.

LJ's issue had nothing to do with the guy you were controlling. that's why i don't get why people are saying you can just hold Y at the start of the play and you don't have to do anything. even if you did this, you would still have to control your guy and cover whoever you need to cover. if you do this and don't move the guy you are controlling he will literally stand there and do nothing.
if you hold Y from the start of the play, it makes your other defenders (not the guy you are controlling) play tighter coverage. this was never about switching to a player and ball hawking for an int

guessing game is not in this year. The problems with DL play were legacy issues from when that was taken out of the game. You can't guess pass or run anymore.

Yeah you can hit LT or something before the play like in NCAA and bring up the defensive adjustment thing. And you can guess Run Middle, Run Right, Run Left or Pass, which will adjust the way your defense works, hitting the right stick directionally early in the season caused the bug where your guys would run commit, it was part of this Tecmo Bowl style system
