Rises into the dumpster. I take a year off and you guys can barely be above .500.

Where is the 13-3 glory I brought to the division last season?

Guess I'll have to go back to work in season 3. Enjoy your one gift.

Kind of buried the lede

Tebow wasn't the problem. He actually played it pretty straight for the most part. Sure, he used his usually cheese tactics, but I countered most of them. I knew when Glass was going to run that route that gives him 10 miles of separation in the slot, so I would cover him. I knew he only ran one play on defense, so I ran the ball for the most part. Etc etc. I eventually found a counter for Tebow after experimentation.

The game was pretty much in the bag since I had gotten the ball back and there wasn't much time left. I could simply run out the clock with first. I see him spazzing out down the middle and I think "is he really doing that now? He held off for so long..." That's when I made that post. Not really thinking, I decided to run it down the middle instead of passing. Sure enough, there he is spazzing in the middle while his teammate forces the fumble. He scores 3 pts and forces overtime. I still had a chance. Held him to three again in OT, but I threw a pick in the endzone. Looked open, but I forgot about da y. If the guy has a few steps on the defender, he's not really open anymore.

I guess I can't really blame him. He will always take what is given to him. He always figures out new ways to exploit the game and I have to find counters without cheesing myself. It's the cycle I've been handed since he joined the division (how come that guy is always in my division?). He held off as long as he could. There's no counter for stick spazzing, though. Not that I know of. 94 carry rating, braces for all hits, and the cover ball button don't work. I'd "hit the lab" if I still gave a shit.

Is the bad QB wrap the one from the shotgun formation without WRs? That tight, 0 WR formation? If so, that one was used a couple of times. Wasn't really the difference maker, though. Didn't piss me off like the end.

Being serious here..what is stick spazzing? It auto causes fumbles or most of the time it does?

Mash up on the HS while controlling whoever. Your teammate will HS force fumble.
Wtf I never do that. I have quite a few players that have high hit power. That's how I get my fumbles.

And I only press y if I'm in position to make a play. Otherwise I just hope my CBs make a play.

The roughest part for me to read about Rors' post is the years of little cheesiness he's had to deal with. It's been mostly a knitting circle conversation only over the years.

So play 2 man under 100% of the time so people run on you so your high hit power can take care of runners? Got it. Normally, I'd just run put up 200 on the ground vs that, but obviously was not that confident in McFadden. Can't really prove anything since we don't have replays, but your guy was clearly spazzing out in the middle twice in a row when shit hit the fan. Could be coincidental since you were trying to force a fumble and weren't a mile away from the play. Do I give you the benefit of the doubt at this point? Nope. I'll still play season 2 just not against you. I'll even auto pilot it and put in my backups. It's just not the type of gameplay I signed up for the league to play.

Y is not a problem since everyone Ys and you can't see that unless you pay close attention. That's more of a comment on the game.

He had Ando too. Who i knew was cheesy before anyone and had to watch my pleading go unheard for years. Because the man in power didnt believe me.

why would you even hit up on hitstick anyways? just feels unnatural. and hit sticking away from the play makes no sense.

p.s.

bird dm said he's at his graduation and wont be home till after 7. are you going to be able to play the CPU before then?

In prior versions of Madden, up was to hit stick high (the animation is like a shoulder to the helmet type hit), down was to take out the legs, and clicking the stick in was to try and get the perfect form tackle hit (as displayed here by the late, great Sean Taylor at 1:41 of the clip):

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Tiburon is trash. EA is trash. Maybe one day we'll get a proper Madden.

Too many easy exploits. Hit stick isn't the only problem.

I'm the Valve of Madden GAF.

I take what others do, improve it, and then make it my own.

I also know you just mad because I have no interest in stealing your bag of dicks line.
